^ I was thinking the exact same thing but I suspect the values are now reversed.

I'm still about. At the time of these originally selling out I had a buyer purchasing multiples from me, hence why I was asking. I think he ended up with over 900 of these! They must be gathering dust now as yes values have lowered. It went 2 x RRP not long after selling out but I believe this was fed by the chap putting in multiple ebay bids/purchases.

^I think we all remembered it where you were the guy with 900. Glad to hear it wasn't you.

I Hope others got out at the right time as well. I recall others on getting multiples for this guy, although I think they had only paid the RRP for them in the first place.

^^^ No, billy was the guy doing the grand tour of UK lego stores with his dad, I believe abusing store staff when they refused to sell him them. And advising people to (probably) comit credit card fraud. Good days!

Someone who claimed that he had over a million pounds worth of toys + Lego in a warehouse and that this was his main hobby. I never asked any further questions lol

Your man with the warehouse sounds like Tabbyboy over on Brickpicker/HUKD. I can't read their forums anymore due to his constant drivel. Good luck with the sale @herrK Sorry for adding to the derailment!

Actually, @cheshirecat is spot on.  Maybe Daddy wasn't honest with little Billy.

As big a company LEGO might be, a small world the afol community is and of course those afol speak to store managers and some store managers aren't as discreet as others and some might share information that perhaps they shouldn't have.

You and your dad were well known on the circuit and is why your unsavoury 'over the phone' orders using daddy's credit card were cancelled and refunded without notice.  You'll be telling us next Dad didn't call up to enquire where his Crawlers were only to find out they were never sent.  Dad can be quite abusive over the phone.

Upsetting and disappointing to witness a father assisting his son in scamming others just to make a quick buck.  Scum.

    Apologies @herrK.
