Aaah, thanks for the info. Hope your help will make a difference, and that the project will be a success.
(Sorry for the low quality of the pic & the terrible background. I was in a hurry and could not find anything to use as a backdrop).
Had a lot of other stuff going on so its been nice to break open a new set and just build again.
Fun trivia tidbit- the name of the "ice planet" is Krysto.
I did think about trying to adapt it to the modern routemaster bus, but decided to stick with the old model!
I am pleased to announce my most challenging and rewarding build, the American supercar, the Hennessey Venom GT.

This build has a V8 twin turbo engine, a motorized rear wing, working steering wheel, 6x lights and a 8 inch GPS built into the center console.
This car has quite a few new ideas and build styles that I will definitely be pursuing in the future.
When I got stuck designing the front of the car, Dugald designed one of the front wheel wells. [thanks Bro!]
This car took about 2 months and has the most detail I have ever put into a car. So grab a cup if coffee, get comfy and enjoy the video!
Twin turbo and interior ;)
My new car in the driveway. Wish it were real....
I am a much bigger fan of the Hennessey after researching the car for this build. The curves on this beast were incredibly hard to replicate, and now I know why not many others have tried it before in Technic Lego...
The Suspension Works really well on this car, even though its 6.5 pounds.
These Porsche wheels spread the weight of the car over the width of the tire and support this car SO much better than the old tires.
Twin turbo with 1451 horse power
Looking forward to adding it alongside my other modulars when I get the spare bedroom back - had to move my Lego out for now as the floor is up to deal with leaking water :(
Wow! Just Wow!
Your building and design skills are phenomenal. I am not very knowledgable on technic Lego, but this is the most intricate build/MOC of a race-car or hyper/super sports car if you like, I have ever seen. Not only does it actually drive like a proper remote controlled car (you can steer it, as opposed to just making it go forward or backwards, as I have seen with some other Technic builds), it has so many other details, and even a motorized rear wing.
You even managed to follow as close as possible, in Lego anyway, the actual lines of the bodywork of the car. I don't know who originally designed the body of that car, but I know Lotus, as well as some electric car from about a decade ago (not a Lotus though), use that body design, or an earlier design on which this is based. I am not sure but doesn't it date back to the beginning of this century?
I did not see it on your Youtube description, what is the name of that soundtrack you used for your video? Really love the jazzy funky gitar, makes me think of this gitarplayer, whose name I cannot remember at the moment. Really like the music!
Song: Tom Misch - The Journey
My mosaics use the largest bricks allowed by the design with the exception of piece availability.
I still haven't resumed work on Brick Bank.
Loving the door mechanism.
Wanted the dark tan 1x2 for my common brick color collection, replaced it with brown. That also worked for the lavender 2x2s and trans 1x2s. So it's a versatile color scheme and this helps it look more like a normal castle.
and i love it.
the train could have done with more grip, as unlike #60051 that if you try to push it to full speed "It will Crash." if you full speed #10254 it dont get the speed to crash.
building it from spare parts!
bullet holes ? special packaging ? is this real ?
Now I will need to make space to lay down some more track so it can actually go round...

The other one that you are thinking of, possibly, is the Vauxhall VX220, which also shared the Lotus Elise chassis and was actually built by Lotus in Norfolk and badged as either Opel Speedster, Vauxhall VX220 or Daewoo Speedster, depending on the market.
