    Weak. Not worth a bother really without sale items unless you are desperate for the snow globe.

    Grabbed a couple of the pet shops. Hate to 'panic' on it, but figured if it is really on borrowed time then buying them at retail with double points and the snow globe make it a bit more worth the purchase (as I would be really surprised to see them get discounted)

    The preview sale has never included the reduced price items that come on Friday. I put in a small order - soon to be discontinued Wall E and Livi's Popstar House. I used my Discover Card so the latter I will price match to Target's $29.99 Black Friday price without ever having to step foot in a Target. TopCashback has 5% on LEGO.com, too, this weekend only. Plus with double points, I think it's a decent deal all in.

    I went to place an order this morning, and the site is acting like I have never ordered there before. It is saying if I become a VIP, I will be able to earn rewards, which I know, as I already have a VIP number. Anyone had this happen before? I logged out and back in, but it still was acting like I had an account but hadn't used it prior to today.

    Even though I am not a big Christmas fan, I do want the Snowglobe...thinking of just getting a modular (Detective's Office or Parisian Restaurant) or the Simpsons' House.

    Actually previous pre BF events have put sets on sale, but only a couple and also may times be only in the store. Would be curious to see if any store goers see any sales in the stores today.

    Never had that issue last night, I did get a msg that an error occurred and call the administrator or something like that. I say that any time you get an issue with your ID, clear your browser cookies and cache for the site and try again.

    My closest store didn't have anything on sale, aside from a very few things like the Ninjago Possession minifig pack and seasonal pilgrim set.

    Yeah I had no idea about double VIP today, but just happened to be at the Tyson Corner mall and stopped in.  Found a damaged box Classic Batcave.  1000 bonus VIP + Double VIP points was just what I needed to push me over into buying.  The snowglobe is pretty cool and a nice bonus. 

    For anyone in the DC metro area that wants the Disney Castle and is definitely planning on building it, they had a damaged box available (1000 extra VIP points) at the Tyson store on the main floor.  No guarantee it will still be there, but a good deal for anyone still hunting for it.  The box looked to be in fine shape too, I couldn't even see where the damage was.  I don't think a better deal will be found on Disney Castle anytime soon with double VIP and a bonus 1000.  Would have pounced on it if I hadn't already ordered during October double VIP.

    each store holds discretion on how to dole out the perks.

    Some stores also don't put the big sets out on the floor.  If you ask an employee they will usually tell you what they have in the back that is either discounted or bonus VIP points due to damaged box.  For sets I'm definitely going to build I wait till I find one with bonus VIP points.  I've earned quite a bit of bonus Lego this way.

    Still working.  You have to acctually click on edit cart go to checkout.  It takes a second to load and appear.  Make sure you are logged in

    Still showing up for me, try adding something and then go into checkout, it usually shows up there.

    ^^When you go to check out, wait 10 or 15 seconds and it will appear in your cart.

     I was having some issue with the snowglobe not automatically adding to an order yesterday. I found that hitting the refresh button after adding your $100.00 ($99.98 will work) to your order worked to make the promo appear.

    My GF had an issue withthe snow globe missing from the cart and no double points. It did not show her VIP account (even though she has one),  so she tried to ensure her card number was registered on site and got an error. After calling CS she found out her card is registered and they put the order through and she got the double points and the snow globe.
    So if you are having this issue, it may be more a site issue (a good way to tell is the points also are not double, and the site asks if you want to become a VIP member, even after logging in with your account that should have the VIP linked).

    This ended up happening to me but worked out in the end. Ordered some PAB tiles that I need and Wall-E.

    Looks like #41122 Adventure Camp, #40158 Pirates Chess Set and #21006 White House will all be 50% off in store only on 11/25.  Probably not a lot of stock of each but worth mentioning for those interested.

     #21006 White House - I've always heard it is harder to sell a vacant house than if someone is living in it. This might be Lego's attempt to unload these before we have a President who does not live at the White House.

    Disappointed no deep sales on Star Wars sets. Last years BF had the AT-AT at 50% off, which was a cool surprise. Guess nothing Ike that this year.

    #10218 Pet Shop at $119.99 (this will be my second one)
    #40153 Birthday Table Decoration at $4.99 (it has a cool mini figure)
    #40155 Piggy Bank at $11.99 (it looked cool)
    and got the #40223 Snowglobe

    Now, I REALLY have to stop spending money. Time to pay up!

    Put pirate chess set in cart and it was only 20% off. Put temple in cart and no discount. Not showing until it's in cart? List that was posted above not correct. Why did I think LEGO website would be working right. What a disgrace to there customers.

    If you add the Pet Shop to your cart the discount will show up.

    Site finally updated for sales. Only 20% off a few sets. Guess I'll save some money because I already have what I want that was on sale.

    I think more is to show up, as I think the rumored list was longer than what is up, but IMO for most of the sets 20% is pretty 'meh', except for Pet shops at 20% off.

    In for the Pet Shop.

    Since there wasn't a double VIP points, I didn't care since I was able to drop the sale price down with my VIP points...plus the snowglobe!

    Nice!

    Now, I just hope the snowglobe and/or the pet shop aren't damaged in transit.

    Don't know about previous years, this year my store had at 50%:
    Friends Adventure tree camp
    Some batwing thing
    Elfs' secret Market place
    Doctor who
    Ariel underwater castle
    Pirate chess
    Guess who
    City Police station
    Bunch of smalle rexclusive sets (weeding, birthday, halloween, pilgrim)

    And
    Airjitzu Temple 30%
    A whole bunch of other sets at 20% (including the Fair Mixer and the Pet Shop)

    It was really worth a trip to the physical store

    Yeah, with how much traffic was going to be around Woodfield mall.. it really was not worth the trip for me, never mind that I know tons of AFOLs likely were there to scoop up some of the better deals right away.
    As much as some of the deals were pretty sweet, it really is never worth trying to go to a mall on BF for me.

    For me going to my local Lego store in the Mall of America was absolutely a no go. Actually I did all of my Lego shopping at Target and Wal-Mart.
