Here's my build (done 2 weeks back) with some colour changes :)

Looks like Santa has been trapped by some bad guy and needs a superhero to save him.

    Is Batman in that draw?

I missed the instructions before they got taken down

I'm surprised TLG hasn't asked for the images to be taken down yet.  TLG will probably require anyone who looked at the picture/instructions to be banned from VIP points, buying from [email protected], or buying from any LBS.

I've managed to free Santa from the confinement! He's now relaxing and having a cup of tea, haha.

Does VIP mean you get the promo?  Or just access to some Black Friday deals?

Thank you so much!!! I'm new to Legos, VIP membership, everything! I don't know how these things work yet :) I wait until I'm 48 to start building with Legos!! :0

You are never too old to start playing with LEGO, this is the best time to buy LEGO anyway, aside from the VIP promos, there will likely be big sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday for all sorts of retailers.

I really hope you're correct, and that WALL-E supplies hold out until then!

Yeah I think a lot of folks are hoping supplies last on some sets that appear to be going soon.. Hoping I can pick up at least 1 more Pet shop before they are gone.

It would appear as if there will not be a shortage of these, based on the fact that they are still available through [email protected]  I assume that this might help keep the aftermarket prices down?  Plus as someone else had noted that there is no date on these and it may mean that they will be back next year for Christmas also leading to keeping prices low.

Well they are going for a decent amount now on eBay. I think the The 'no year' thing does make me wonder if they did that to release them again next holiday season as well. 99 dollars to get it makes it a bit more expensive as it is still 'cheap' but you only get one if you spend 99 dollars (we can debate the whole reseller thing in another thread).

Has anyone seen these for sale in their local brick and mortar store? Since they are still available as a gift with purchase online, I wondered if they might be available in store. Thanks

^They would be available with the same GWP conditions at a Lego Store, but not for sale in stores.

It's the only piece of Lego decoration we've got  so far.  On top of the fish tank.

^Not lacking in Xmas sets ;-)  No doubt I'll get round to posting photos of them when I've built this year's WV.  Just not into celebrating Xmas 3+ weeks early.
