Any ideas as to what we might be getting in the CMF line for the movie?
I'm one of those that heard about the first LEGO film, and thought 'yeah... that's gonna be a bunch of wank'. Ended up checking a trailer out of curiosity, laughed loads, and turned it off before the end to avoid spoiling the film!

Calendar Man is a minor Batman villain who is known for committing crimes that correspond with holidays and other significant dates. One of his best-known appearances is as a supporting character in the critically-acclaimed story arc Batman: The Long Halloween.
Kite Man is another minor villain who uses kite-themed weapons and gadgets. Pretty typical "theme villain", all things considered.
Tarantula is a minor spider-themed anti-hero generally more associated with Dick Grayson/Nightwing than with Batman. She's a somewhat controversial character due to a non-consensual sex scene with Nightwing in the comics, but obviously I doubt this version of the character will make any sort of reference to that.
Magpie is an EXTREMELY minor super-villainess jewel thief.
Hope this helps!
Otherwise, nice sets!
(I am interested as how they do a CMF series, if they do a CMF series.)
Where is a Bat-Copter???
^ And that is a great stab at making Kite Man legit. Thanks for the page and for the info!
I am delighted to see so many relatively obscure villains appearing in these sets and I think most of the models are excellent too. I look forward to their release!

Also, if this wasn't a LEGO forum I would've thought Kite Man and Calendar Man were from the Rockman series.
@thebeermonkey has a list of the minifigure series, 20 in total:
Good stuff...good stuff
By now, most people should know about the Gladiator Batman in the activity book
Then, reviews were starting to come in from Jangbricks and Just2good,
And now, the LEGO Batman movie sets are now available! :D
#70911 The Penguin Arctic Roller
However, it's a bit frustrating that both the figs in that set seem to be duplicates of ones from the Batcave set, unless they have alternate faces. I feel like I'm going to want to keep my spending in check with this theme, since there are so many other themes I enjoy (Elves, Nexo Knights, and Ninjago) still ongoing. And sticking to sets with one or more figs I don't have is one of the techniques I typically use to keep my LEGO budget in check.

And then the LEGO store January Calander shows that we have two different "events" and a cool promo! :D
I should project what the total annual cost is going to be to collect this line...or maybe I shouldn't. :)
