Dumping all current Lux info here:
Most shops in Luxembourg have started the Sinterklaas promotions last/this week, but most (I'm looking at you, Maxi Toys and Bart Smit) are just charging RRP on sets marked as in "PROMO!!!!!"...
2 exceptions:
- #41130 Amusement Park Roller Coaster for EUR 65.95
- #75152 Imperial Assault Hovertank for EUR 28.95
- #42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator for EUR 159.95
- #42054 CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC for EUR 109.95
Some of these prices are lower than the lowest recorded to date on Brickwatch, however they are only valid for the Cora's in Luxembourg - looking at the Belgian Cora flyer (Messancy) ones seem to have these sets priced 5-10% more expensive.Cora Lux flyer: http://www.cora.lu/cora/front/popin/displayFolders/issuuReferenceId/5203.do (Lego promo pages 37-41)
Some of their sets are priced OK-ish, so 15% off could push that into "good deal"-territory.
In store and online. Stores are open until 21h.
I got the U-wing for 65 euros and the shuttle for 76,50 euros. This is really cheap, knowing that the sets in Belgium cost 90 and 110 euros normally.
Not identifying many worthwhile bargains after a quick look at their site. Only decent promo I see is #41129 Amusement Park Hot-Dog Van, but as that's a smaller set the discount is not really material vs other places.
The couple of exclusives (Brick Bank/Airjitzu Temple/...) they have could be tempting, but the 15% discount is not tempting enough for me to compete with double VIP at [email protected] and London Bus. Or get them from Germany/Amazon IT instead.
Kruidvat has only some starter sets, so not really much choice but I thought it could be nice to known.
Some sets on dreamland are priced pretty good ATM and you get an extra 15% off when you spend 50 euro (+ add the code) e.g. the ferrari (that I think might not be there much longer) #10248 is 80 + 15% off.
Auchan have recently more or less price-matched the Cora promotions, so e.g. that #42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator, priced at EUR156, can be had for EUR126... (Or at least you get EUR30 to spend on more Lego?)
Fun does 15% off Lego (only today) seems like their shops are open even though it's a bank holiday, sinterklaas is even in some of them. The friends rollercoaster set is even 30% off.
They've got 10% off Lego overal till the 20th so might be some other interesting things around
Tower Bridge for 169 euro (@paul_merton you want me to tell your SS about this? ;) )
Creator Camper Van, Ferrari and Mini Cooper for 70 euro
It seems like the Brick Bank isn't available every time there is a promotion - guess that's following the exclusive rule but I thought Tower Bridge was an exclusive too so not sure about it.
I just ordered the SW advent calender.
The SW calender is €24,74
The City and friends calenders are €18,74
When your order is €20 or more shipping is always free.
I still had €7,50 in gift certificates so I only needed to pay €17,24 for it, and still qualify for free shipping. Pretty good deal for it, when normally the SW advent calender is €32.99 RRP.
They also have other deals on Lego but I am not sure they compare favourably to other (online) shops!?!
Sometimes wehkamp.nl has strong discounts as well, I bought some Nexo Knights sets some time ago that were below or equal to the price of A-tembo (they usually have the lowest price in NL).
Thanks. I know that company exists, I have just never even bothered to check their website.
Their deal on #75153 for €38,99 seems pretty good (instead of €54,99 RRP).
https://www.wehkamp.nl/speelgoed-games/lego/lego/lego-star-wars-at-st-walker-75153/C25_K58_K58_709089/?MaatCode=0000&PI=0&PrI=9&Nrpp=96&Blocks=0&Ns=M&NavState=%2f_%2fN-1xqt&IsSeg=0
That is almost 30% discount.
ps.
I was just such an idiot ordering #75156 (Krennic's shuttle) at full price (even with triple VIP points from Lego [email protected]) when now I see it €30 cheaper at Wehkamp as well as other sites, especially since I have not even got around to building it yet.
Fun has #41134 for 74,99, that's only 15% off but this set doesn't seem to be wildly available - anybody know why?
Too bad about that shuttle, but thanks for pointing it out. ;-)
but they are a site to keep in mind. They regularly have toys discount!
(most of their stuff is priced at RRP, though every now and then they have some interesting special offers where they match the prices or are even a little cheaper than those of A-Tembo, contrary to A-Tembo they provide free shipping when the order is over €100, plus they seem to always make sure they have the newest/latest sets in their collection/assortment)
(Too bad there is no A-Tembo shop in Amsterdam)
Anyway.....
There is a nation wide special offer (which brickshop.nl also partakes in {just like the annual special Duplo days in October every year}) on NEXO Knights.
25% discount on everything
Quotation from this email:
Fijn weekend!"
So I assume this offer will also be at other retailers in/from the Netherlands.
Brickshop.nl also ships to Belgium for free when the order is €100 or more. They also offer extra insurance at pay. But not to Luxembourg, unless you fancy paying €24 for shipment and delivery. ;-)
Still, don't forget to check Amazon because even better deals might be struck there!?!
ps.
I haven't found it yet, and my French is far from fluent, but does anyone know how much shipment from Amazon.fr to the Netherlands costs? Shipping from Amazon.de to the Netherlands is free usually.
Delivery charges to the Netherlands: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=mobile-search-result-item-1-8?ie=UTF8&nodeId=201910820&qid=1479506306&sr=1-8
Thanks! I could not find it immediately, plus sometimes when it has been a while since I last heard/spoke/read any French, it is like I am stuck. Like I cannot pull that language switch in my head specifically for French.
I bought a second Fortrex for Nexo MOCs on Amazon UK myself.
In related news, Dreamland has 20% off Nexo Knights for the moment, btw. Selection is limited and prices arent that good to begin with though - Especially comparing to Amazon UK.
That being said, a lot of the good deals on Amazon UK are no longer eligible for shipping to Belgium, like #70322 Axl's Tower Carrier for 36 pound. Seems the local resellers have been complaining again. More worryngly, Amazon DE is starting to do the same!
Still - there's other good deals to be had. Picked up a #60124 Volcano Base for 38,5 pound.
Beware of the delivery quality though. I had some truly awful experiences over the past months with Amazon.co.uk: One moderately damaged delivery (all boxed had crushing damage), one heavily damaged delivery (damaged bricks even...) and a third package has been lost (Shipped on the 4th, popped up in Germany 10 days ago and not been heard of since). They seem to have switched from BPost to PostNL for their standard deliveries as well.
On the deals topic: Carrefour in Belgium is running a 2+1 action on all Lego until December 05. The prices I saw were not great, but at least below RRP, so might be possible to snag a deal.
The only thing is prices are always fluctuating there, I saw #75150 a couple of days ago for less than €60 (don't remember the exact price; something like €57) but now it is already close to €75 again. I already have that set, plus I spend plenty on sets I haven't got yet, but I was so tempted to get a second copy of it for that price, though I didn't.
Dutch (online) shops really need to get more competitive, their 'special orders' often are just laughable, compared to Amazon.
Anyway I am happy with my score.
On some sets, like #70322 Axl's Tower Carrier the discount is 20%. This brings down the price to about 50 EUR - lowest I've seen delivered to Belgium. The small selection of sets at 20% off includes #75105 Milennium Falcon so it can be had for 95 euro delivered, on par with the best Amazon UK price delivered recently.
Most sets are priced at RRP, however this sale makes the ones currently discounted for Sinterklaas/St Nicolas really tempting, with some at the lowest price I have seen so far:
- Anybody who has not yet bought #41130 Amusement Park Roller Coaster for their daughters/nieces: priced at EUR 67 => now EUR 54
- #42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator EUR 169 => EUR 135
- #75151 Clone Turbo Tank EUR 90 => EUR 72
- #70323 Jestro's Volcano Lair EUR 95 => EUR 76
- #60047 Police Station EUR 62 => EUR 50
- #60051 High Speed Passenger Train EUR 80 => EUR 64
Picked up the Clone Turbo Tank for myself ;)The catch is: the one with the cheapest price will be given free.
But if you thus buy three sets with the same price or three the same sets you have a 33% discount.

(edit)
Yes they have Lego, though not as much as they used to have. Last time I was there was a couple of weeks ago. Their prices are for Lego generally below regular retail prices though. So you might be able to find some great sets at a nice discount.
