Its been said I think in previous threads, but Targets still have the #30447 Capt America bike polys in their checkout aisles. I believe it was $3.50 or $4, either way nice little bag for a capt America figure and a motorcycle

Last time i checked, ours still just has an old SW poly from ages ago

I stopped by a Target today. Looked like the entire Halloween section was out, but there were no toys. No polys to be found.
That is what I've been seeing, too.
Capt America polybags at Cottle Target

Today I join the Polybag Club! I walked into the store and on my way to the toys I saw a #30447 Captain America polybag laying around next to the self-checkout...I went to the toy section and found some S16 CMFs (picked two more Mariachis), felt really weird with a lot of people in that store so I stopped fondling the packets and decided to head back home.

I went to pay to the self-checkout and picked the polybag I had seen and paid...then as I finished the transaction I turned right and saw more polybags at the bottom of the stand in the checkout area, $3.49 (I think), so don't forget to check that part if you don't find them in the toy section.

I found #30474 Reindeer at the Leaning Express in Glen Ellyn, IL. While I don't generally care for Christmas decorations being sold this early, I didn't mind finding these. Now I just have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to build it.

Nice, but remember the first rule of CMF buying: Never feel funny or weird about feeling packs.

I was feeling for a few extras for series 16 the other day and a teenager came over and was feeling the packs after my GF and I left. He kept looking over at me actually, I think wondering which figures I found and took. The only times I do not feel for packs is if I do not feel like standing there looking for this or that specific figure or I am pressed for time.

I agree with @madforLEGO, no reason to feel awkward for doing nothing wrong :-)
If anybody stares (and I don't really pay attention to other people), I just smile and keep going about my business (feeling those bags!).

Was hoping to find Halloween polybags, but all of a sudden the checkout aisles at the Target by me has tons of Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle.

Too bad I already got that one with my GameStop Lego TFA preorder, although I do hope it shows up at Targets near me so I can get it for other people.  I do wish they'd also get the First Order Star Destroyer poly, though.  The BB near me who has two pegs full of them now ring them up at $9.99 ea instead of $29.99 ea a month or so ago.  That's still too much for me, though.

Typically I will ask if they are looking for a specific figure and if I am busy searching and run across it (if I did not need it) I would give it to them. A kid found the CMF 16 Dog show winner and asked if I wanted it, so only polite to return the favor to folks. Did this with Simpson's figures as well when I was searching for series one figures for my GF.

just curious....has any one returned these to  store after opening them?  Heck, you can return other items after opening if the contents are all there.

Only once. My series 8 DJ had a misprinted tile and I exchanged it for another one.

I guess target was to lazy to set up the Halloween blind bag/toy section this year. Popped in to check for Lego Halloween poly, to see if those $1 gem digs were in(they were), and if there was any shopkins stuff in the Halloween section.

There was no blind bag/toy section at all in the Halloween area! There wasn't even empty shelf space where the metal rack thingys could be set up to contain that stuff.

My local Target still had a few of the TIE Advanced and Capt America ploys. Plus they had a ton of the series 16 CMFs.

At least your branch gets CMFs out on time. Ours has been so freaking lazy this year with that. We got Monsters last year on time. Nothing more until like march or april and that More monster figures. Couple months ago was Series 15. Yesterday appeared to be more monsters mixed with the series 15. Have yet to see Disney or Series 16

Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle found in Maryland. Glen Burnie North Target had a few scattered throughout the checkout lanes today and they were only $3.49.

Series 15 never even showed up at mine. We went from monsters to 16. I'm still missing a few 15.

^ those are some great polys though
  • josekaleljosekalel Member Posts: 683
I just came back from Target and saw a bunch of Kylo Ren's Shuttles, and just one or two of the Captain America bags (as opposed to a few days ago when there were more). Still no sign of the Joker bag.

The Target in Virginia Center area, VA has the Joker Bumper Cars and Captain America back at the registers.

I went out to TRU today and found Mixels Series 9 already out. Only picked up one, #41573 Sweepz, the guy with the street sweeper hands.

Yep. Ours had part of them out also. Problem is that it was only maybe 1 of each guy out so i couldn't get all of what i needed. I wanted a second of the chopper from the TV crew and on second thought, i could use a spare Gobbol and possibly a Cobrax.

So what i think i'll do is since I have a free shipping code, i'll take and at the start of next month plus an order for the remaining mixels i need and a small PAB order.

I don't feel like waiting for about another 2 or 3 weeks to go by TRU to start putting out the rest of the box and the stores around here tend to be slow at putting out the new stuff

Got the free First Order General @ TRU in Matteson, IL and bought another for $5. Had to ask for it though, as the box was hidden under the service desk and the employee didn't know what to look for. Cool figure, though -

Does anyone know if the F.O. Star Destroyer poly will be available for sale anywhere other than theme parks or that price gouging Best Buy I know of that has them?

    Check with the UK collectors.

They were included with the Lego Star Wars magazines, I believe.

@MugenPower - F.O. Star Destroyer is available for a very reasonable price at Bricklink

Thanks for the suggestion, but for the average price I see on there, it's close enough to the $10 that the Best Buy I mentioned charges.  Plus, I can get some BB reward points with the purchase.  I was hoping they'd show up at Target or TRU for $3.49-$4.99 that those stores typically charge for polys.

^^ Dang, I was just at a Walmart and didn't see/notice that!  Hoping my closest store gets that soon!

Kylo Ren's Shuttle and Captain America's Cycle were just put out at my Target.

Very timely.  Only about 10 months late to be relevant...

Spotted at Target in Redmond, WA today -- in the toy dept on an end cap.  Still Cap's Cycle and Kylo Ren's Shuttle + a few old Nexo Knights Lava Slingers at checkout.

I think that particular location just gets more polys than others around here. I found the Joker's Bumper car there last year (and nowhere else). The two were in the regular toy dept away from the Halloween (and now Xmas!!) stuff at the back of the store.

Ooh - just figured it out. Looks like they're going to be a free with $24.99 or more Lego purchase starting tomorrow. Ad preview at Totally Target.

On a related note, I've had numerous occasions when I've found opened CMFs in Target and Walmart. It drives me nuts that someone would just open these and then walk off. Frankly, their incompetence gives the rest of us a bad name. It's no wonder TRU now puts their CMFs in tamper-proof containers.

^Is that just Canada or is it the US too?  According to that link, the FO Star Destroyer should be available this week.  Luckily, I'll be in Toronto for a few days on that second week, I'll have to try to stop by a TRU to see what they have in addition to the Venom poly.

Saw the mention about the poly for the FOSD in a flyer for this week, so they should have them, but not sure if these are around for Canada
