Cheeky minfig purchase from Amazon, since I needed to spend at least £2.30 to hit the free postage threshold... well, that's my excuse...

^ Amazon is going mad with some Nexo Knights sets at the moment. And some superhero ones. I'm almost annoyed I've already bought the ones I want. At least I got a partial refund on the Doctor Strange set.

I just got #60050 Train Station at 25% off from Amazon, which was on back order. I justified it to myself because it would come out of next month's budget. I then got an email saying that it was being shipped earlier than expected, so I'll have it early next week... Doh! ;-)

Picked up a couple of Nexo Knights magazines for £1 each in a charity shop for duplicate parts (the catapult issue) at lunch but that didn't quite scratch the itch so as the £10 off is still valid I've just ordered 10242 Mini Cooper.

Just picked up two Kylo Ren's Shuttle polybags from Target, I almost finished building one while waiting for my food in a drive-thru.

Just ordered #76052 "Batman Classic TV Series - Batcave" from Smyths Toys for £163.99, a 29% discount which is great for an exclusive set. I'm still not sure about it but I'm also not sure how much longer the deal will be available. Best to error on the side of me having the set in hand! :)

#70605 Ninjago Misfortune's Keep for 52% off at Amazon... I've been wanting this set but didn't want to pay anything like full price, so this is more than welcome.

These Nexo Knights discounts are staggeringly good; I wasn't expecting to see multiple 52% off discounts until closer to Christmas! I've been mentally slapping my hand away from Amazon all morning. "No! You can't have it!" Now, if the deals persist, or come back in a few weeks when I can afford it, I'm stocking up...

Got two more polybags from Target, #30275 TIE Advance Prototype and #30374 NEXO Lava Slinger...still no luck finding Joker's polybag, but I'm still hopeful.
  • legomentallegomental Member Posts: 370
I've caved and bought the Town Square, the kids advent calenders and a Disney frozen set for the littlest to start her lego collection off this Christmas.

With Brick next month and a compulsory shop at home purchase to get the London bus, black Friday in November and Christmas coming I'm clearly going to be cash poor but brick rich for the next 3 months

@josekalel, what Joker poly bag are you looking for?
  • brumeybrumey Member Posts: 1,002
i got all nexo robo-horses now. the missing "infernox captures the queen" i just got!
also couldnt resist on the 33 gbp misfortune keep!
skipped the idea of getting into fairground sets.

my "ultimately get in 2016 list" got boiled down a bit:
60051 high speed train (already have 1 and 2 spare middle wagons) this will be a long one when done
60098 fright train (just for completing my "2014-and-up-train collection")
70596 samurai x cave (this set is just cool, much cooler than the batcave!)

then 2 sets my nephew has mentioned i should also get:
70324 merlok library (its haz AVA and can connect to fortrex)
70589 rock roader (its haz  LIL NELSON)

my nephew has explicitely said to me that those little pals (ava prentis and lil'nelson) are essential!

so 5 sets left for me in 2016 . thinking of gettign samurai x cave via lego.com as i just hit the threshold for more VIP points with a purchase of fun in the park, darth vader keychain and infernox captures the queen (403 now!  wuhuuuu).
got kais mini dragon (last year in september i got kais jetski yay)

now i m off to bricklink.  more scurriers and a darth vader helmet!

After looking and thinking and looking and thinking, i finally caved in on getting #76053 - Gotham City Cycle Chase. I need more Batman minifigs! Not really, I'm after Harlequin & Deadshot. Now all I need to worry about is the Sewer Smash set. Darn it!
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
Amazon UK had #70593 The Green NRG Dragon for 52% off, so I finally caved in and ordered myself a dragon for my #70751 Temple of Airjitzu. And #70734 Master Wu Dragon. Because dragons should not be lonely?

Nothing at the moment but seriously tempted by both the 1960's Batcave from Smyths and the Green NRG Dragon from Amazon.

Someone convince me either way.  To buy or not to buy?

I'm tempted on getting #60051 High Speed Train, it's at a good price in Amazon (it's not the lowest, but I doubt it will go to the lowest again)...any thoughts? I mean, I do need a passenger train in my town...

I also plan on getting them all. I will mostly likely only get the AT-ST on Friday.

My wife declared #75128 TIE Advanced Prototype "cute" over the weekend, so picked it up for her today while shopping. This is her 2nd microfighter, after last wave's #75075 AT-AT (looks like a cute little dog).
Now wondering whether I should also pick up the rest of this series.
  • Master_JMaster_J Member Posts: 5
I will definitely be getting the at st, such an iconic Star Wars figure for any collector and if anything like the at at it will increase in value once discontinued. Will also be getting the hover tank this weekend too!

Looks suspiciously like the one I bought at the duty free in Schiphol Airport on my way back from visiting friends in Amsterdam last Christmas when I realised at the last moment I hadn't got anything for my parents! ;-)

75146 SW Advent Calendar for 20% at ToysRUs, pity nothing else we're after was on sale, another $60 & would have had the 1st Bricktober set.

@plasmodium hmm, now you say that, they were a gift from my parents after they went to Amsterdam recently. Although they went by ferry.

    What, nobody bought anything today?

I picked up a couple of the 2015 Halloween sets from Sainsburys tonight along with a second Kick boxer and Dog Show judge.  Plus some flowers for MrsB.
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
Received #41130 Amusement Park Roller Coaster today. But is a gift for a niece, so not sure that counts...
Still trying to stay strong and wait until Friday before I spend any more money on Lego...

I'm sure one stroopwafel tin looks very much like another. I'm not implying they forgot about you until they got to the duty free at the ferry terminal. ;-)

Besides, if someone had forgotten to bring me a souvenir, stroopwafels would make up for that omission more or less entirely, no matter at what stage of the journey they had been bought. A tin of stroopwafels is a tin of stroopwafels. :-)

My willpower to refrain from buying Lego until Friday didn't last long. Again. Bought a couple of CMF Series 13 Samurai to go with my Temple of Airjitzu.
Also got any other CMF's from Series 13 and 14 I was still missing. Still missing 3 from Series 15 now.

And need to buy stroopwafels when I go shop later today.

^I believe Trader Joe's sells these in America, as well. They are delicious.

In LEGO purchasing news, I haven't bought anything in the last few days. My wallet is okay with this.
