dragon, or wyvern, to be anatomically correct... :-)
That's exactly why, I know nothing about dragons  'Wyverns', or Ninjago. Does anybody know if it has name or something? From the color scheme and the fact that the box art had the green ninja riding it, I'm guessing it's his main dragon.

The dragons from the 2011 sets are the only ones that have names. Their names are Rocky (earth dragon), Shard (ice dragon), Wisp (lightning dragon), and Flame (fire dragon). And technically, the Ultra Dragon from #9450 inherited the same names, since it's all four of those dragons fused together.

The later dragons are actually not living creatures, but rather energy projections that the ninja and Master Wu can summon with their elemental powers. Except for Nindroid MechDragon, which is a robot/vehicle.

@Shib And all my friends thought I was lying when I said there was an Adam West Batman episode that crossed over with Doctor Who, featuring Ghost Rider and Banana Suit guy. I knew I hadn't just dreamt it.

I see Dr. Who and Steve Rogers going for a ride. And for some reason Capt. America is in the back ground just watching them.

When there is a TARDIS involved you can alway have multiple characters crossing the same timeline ;-)

    ^ Beautiful display.

  • I'm not a big Ninjago fan so nobody yell at me... I bought this green dragon yesterday because I love how Lego is pulling off these new dragons, doing brick built heads instead of molds etc. Admittedly, the wings on this dragon were a big selling point for me. The sand green cloth with gold foil is absolutely amazing! The rest of the set I just parted out into my store, so once all that's sold, this dragon will be free. :) -snip-

Say, do you happen to have a link to said store? Considering where you live I can get like $0 in shipping, and I've always been interested in getting parts of sets.

^ I'm still surprised about the interceptor being blue. Brings me right back to why I think the later non-UCS imperial craft are better than the earlier ones - they're a 'better' colour.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
^Yea the blue is very distracting on the Interceptor. Plus it's Old Gray/Dark Gray so that doesn't help either.

Built #6453 Comlink Cruiser & #6458 Satellite with Astronaut. In the process of looking up directions I discoved all along I had the pieces for #6452 Mini Rocket Launcher! Never looked much at the Space Port line.

Don't forget Nya! The story arc for the first half of next year ("The Hands of Time") will be focusing on Kai and Nya, and the rumor right now is that one of the sets will feature a two-headed fusion dragon for the two of them.

Yay, finally some love for Space Port! I collected it avidly back in the day. They've released more realistic space shuttles since, but I have a lingering fondness for this theme...

HAHAHA!! That IS my current dilemma. XD Gave myself a few shelves in the playroom closet to try and contain this obsession.... obsession is winning.

Thanks! :) I'm rather pleased with it. The front isn't brilliant, but it was never going to be at that scale.

Oh and I finished building the Big Ben set earlier today too. That took me a total of just under 7 hours to build.

#70751 Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu - somehow I've made a mistake with the Smugglers Market, the roofs are not settling into those beautiful curves - to be investigated tonight.

After finishing the Mystery Mansion, had the idea to put something in front of the house so modified #40221 with the help of a spare S14 Gargoyle.

Someone's already gearing up for next month's contest. :)

I might have been a bit presumptuous to say that the Mystery Machine was going to be my next build as I seem to have got carried away adding to the Mansion.
After the first draft fountain, I decided to modify my modifications to make it a bit more horror orientated.
That led to base plate being added and now it's got to the point where I've had to move it to a bigger table to fit 2 more base plates to the build.
    What have I started????

    have started to build #60051
    And I just started building #60052... :-)

I have just completed books 1 & 2, so have the green truck and the main loco built so far.

Silly me though... I got the set home this afternoon and, after flicking idly through the manuals, I realised that there's no way that I've got enough AAA batteries (9 needed, in total!!) to power the thing and it was too late to head back out to the shops, so there'll be no maiden run tonight... :-(

Other than that, my daughters and I rebuilt #41008 Heartlake City Pool, #41037 Stephanie's Beach House and #41090 Olivia's Garden Pool this afternoon... It's a mammoth task as every piece for every set had been incorporated somewhere in one of their own MOCs.
This all adds to the other sets that we had rebuilt previously, as we (I) have a plan to rebuild all their sets, to make sure all the pieces are present.
Once we finally complete this Herculean effort, they'll soon all be broken down and rebuilt into their own MOCs again... :-)

^Always thought that the squat proportions and big bubble tires of the Lawmaster would lend themselves well to a LEGO build - looking forward to seeing the results!

^ Already had them over on the MOC thread but here you go. I need to find a thin gold permanent marker to fix the chains and badges though, the one I had was far too thick and wipes off.
Hope the picture posts right, I'm pasting it from that thread and it's getting stretched here...
