Just finshed putting the Batcave together...pretty sure this scene happened in an episode once...
The later dragons are actually not living creatures, but rather energy projections that the ninja and Master Wu can summon with their elemental powers. Except for Nindroid MechDragon, which is a robot/vehicle.
BA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA BATMAN!
Spent a full day building #10175 UCS TIE Advanced as part of my Skywalker altar to Anakin & Luke. Second time building it also and still feel it's only a so-so build experience at about 7.0 out of 10. Though the finished model is more pleasing than the UCS TIE Interceptor.
a cowler dragon! my nephew has him too!
so whats left? a big one for kai and a big one for cole!
jay, zane and loyd already have their brickbuilt variants!
it's a cool "little" build.
Also have a couple of Monster Fighter sets and the series 14 CMF's to add in somewhere.
When the whole thing is done, there'll be five coaches and three cabs (one as a spare). The whole thing will be 3.5m (11.5ft) long, and have a total of just over 6800 pieces.
I'm also intending to get the doors printed onto the bricks, as well as the Virgin logo.
Oh and I finished building the Big Ben set earlier today too. That took me a total of just under 7 hours to build.
After the first draft fountain, I decided to modify my modifications to make it a bit more horror orientated.
That led to base plate being added and now it's got to the point where I've had to move it to a bigger table to fit 2 more base plates to the build.
What have I started????
I have just completed books 1 & 2, so have the green truck and the main loco built so far.
Silly me though... I got the set home this afternoon and, after flicking idly through the manuals, I realised that there's no way that I've got enough AAA batteries (9 needed, in total!!) to power the thing and it was too late to head back out to the shops, so there'll be no maiden run tonight... :-(
Other than that, my daughters and I rebuilt #41008 Heartlake City Pool, #41037 Stephanie's Beach House and #41090 Olivia's Garden Pool this afternoon... It's a mammoth task as every piece for every set had been incorporated somewhere in one of their own MOCs.
This all adds to the other sets that we had rebuilt previously, as we (I) have a plan to rebuild all their sets, to make sure all the pieces are present.
Once we finally complete this Herculean effort, they'll soon all be broken down and rebuilt into their own MOCs again... :-)
Hope the picture posts right, I'm pasting it from that thread and it's getting stretched here...
