    @Fauch

    For a donation to @Legoboy's just giving page, I'll send you that poly plus one other as a surprise if you pm me your address. It'll go standard airmail untracked, delivery aim is 3-5 days.

    It might take me a week to locate spidey. Hints as to which theme you'd most like the surprise poly to be from are welcome. :o)

    you think we can get those free spidey polybags for ordering in france? I don't have a spidey yet.

    @Fauch - I wouldn't worry. I don't think they're available here in Germany yet either (at least I haven't seen any). I'm sure they'll find their way to France soon :-)

    That annoyance of knowing I have several tubs of 1x2 white bricks and just can't find them. I've looked everywhere. I bought shedloads when they were in the PAB wall a few years back and now I need them. There's just too many to lose. Where on earth can they be?

    @iso3200
    Did you get some as part of pab box fills? You know the Christmas giveaway boxes, fill up after Christmas? They wouldn't be in pab tubs, they'd be in decorated cardboard boxes?

    I had a similar experience recently so I hope you find them.
  • iso3200iso3200 Member Posts: 2,065
    No - the 1x2's have been decanted into click lock tubs from Poundland. I can visualise them in my head. I just can't see them for real. Bah!

    My pizzeria MOC kept falling off the place where I put it, so I added it to my road display.

    It's a combination of #10036 Pizza To Go and #41092 Stephanie's Pizzeria. I got 41092 with this in mind, from the clearance that ended my dark ages. It helped me consider Friends, and the 3x3 plate was an idea whose time had come.
    I am currently 'restoring' (cleaning, whitening) #10036 from my forgotten sets...I love that set, the pizzas, the chef, everything.
    I love the clean and simple design. Some modern sets look cluttered. (10036 is a 2002 reissue of #6350 from 1994). #10037 Breezeway Cafe is a rerelease of #6376 from 1990, same idea. As a kid, both stood out to me in the catalog. I already lost some parts by the time I MOCed with them as an AFOL.

    That sucks. I've had minor issues inventorying my BL stuff but nothing large with my personal stockpile.

    Ordered my first LEGO train set today...uh oh
    I tried HO trains as a kid and didn't take to it, so I know better. Like how getting addicted to one MMO taught me not to play any others either. Display space is even more of an issue than with regular LEGO.

    In all honesty I'm not going to get into LEGO trains seriously without a lottery win or something, just don't have the room, but I do love the Winter Village line so wanted to be able to motorise the upcoming Winter Holiday Train.

     Found a deal that worked out better to buy the high speed passenger train than buying the power functions parts and track separately. Plus it'll give me a few extra train parts to allow me to add a couple of extra carriages to the Winter Train.

    I had to throw away my collection of Shop at Home catalogues from 1998 today. Sad times, but in honesty I don't even remember the last time I looked at them.

    Got home with a couple of unplanned LEGO sets and 10 more CMF Series 10 bags to find a letter from my self control saying that it couldn't take it anymore and was leaving me. The kid (i.e. wallet) is the one that always suffers in these cases.

    Got to enjoy a relaxing hour or so feeling for a couple S16 minifigs at the local LEGO store. Also, they had a bunch of leftover Nexo Knight minifigs they were giving away with the calendar coupon. So you get that and Lavaria for free! Not bad.

    Went to possibly buy a set from my Walmart yesterday (the only local place to buy LEGO), they had nothing of interest. SO, I'm building a set from from my very small & dwindling stash. :D

    I got this for $130 a few weeks ago. They were asking $100, but I payed $30 extra to jump the 5/6 people in front of me (yes, I'm one of those people ;)).

    Just what are you hoping to find that won't still be there later, and particularly for the grand opening?

    Things like that tend to be available at the grand opening, not the official opening.

    Thanks! Would be nice to get confirmation on what will be available when prior to booking tickets to London City.

    Lego re-organizing carnage in my basement...

    And yes, I have cubicles in my basement.  Maybe I'll run a raffle question in @bendybadger's absence when the last time the treadmill was used...

    Expanded benchwork finished this evening.

    I am now obliged to build my City.  Right?
    Yep. The sets on the table at the moment might lend themselves quite nicely to a historical timeline setup if you rank them from "oldest" to "newest"

    @SprinkleOtter - I'm not sure where the Arkham Asylum Ambulance would go, or the what I should do with a PaB cup full of buildable panda parts.

    And the USS Constitution is a bit out of scale.

    That reminds me, I must get round to cleaning the car. My wife mentioned it to me yesterday.

    Are you on brain detail?  'Cause I'm washing the windows.
    Brain detail! It's a Pulp Fiction reference! Just got it now. Sorry... I'll sort out the upholstery!
