Also, they had the #60097 City Square for only $115 apparently. City road base plate are included and 11.99 per set.
Which is why I refuse to buy LEGO sets from brick and mortar stores. Too easy to get stuck with tampered boxes
I remember buying a Lego set on clearance at Target but it was missing a minifig (City set, luckily). Since then, I bring any "questionably tampered" boxes to the CS counter to check before purchase. I found a #70728 (Battle for Ninjago City) on 50% clearance at Target but seals looked peeled and reapplied. I pointed this out to the CS and asked if I could check the contents. Luckily, I found a review online that mentioned the number of bags for the set (something, I think, Brickset needs to add to their set info) and I wasn't missing any; also, the bags were untampered.
#30256 Ice Bear Mech polybags near registers. Surprisingly good part out value, about $9. Includes a dark bley 47458 which is also in #5004590 Bat Pod.
Also had a couple #30447 Captain America's Motorcycle, I expected that to have high part value and it did.
Scanned at $3.49, I'm going back for some ASAP.
My guess is Target has them in the checkout aisles for the release of Civil War this week.
i had a friend go the next day to one Target I just visited. All gone.
Also, looks like all the left over Jurassic World sets are finally going on clearance, they are still only 30% off

About time for Civil War to come out on DVD, a bunch of library patrons had been looking for it (Once I directed a guy to 973.7 for the American Civil War. D'oh! :P)
Got 2 #30447 and 11 #30256 on the 14th. Didn't have quite enough on my redcard, but wasn't going to risk some being gone. Also, I wanted to do the parting out all at once.
I don't hold onto LEGO as an investment per se, just however long it takes to sell at current prices. I'm not interested in any of the parts myself.
Or that...thought it would have more of an impact on a smaller set, why I said that.

I saw a couple #75915 yesterday, didn't check whether they were still there tonight, I was occupied...
Last night, saw a whole endcap rack of S16. Had to go back! Was delayed and unable to deposit into the account linked to my redcard. By evening, there were still a lot left - and good ones, too. Got 5 banana guy, 7 penguin boy and 4 babysitter. It took awhile to check all those packs and I still have a few dozen to go. I set aside some Rogue and a Dog Show Winner for later.
Hadn't seen the cardboard rack before. Looked like 12 pegs and 10 packs each, so 2 cases' worth?
I may be going back to Target tomorrow or Monday to look for Capt America Civil War on Blu ray and maybe check out the CMF 16 if they still have any since I last was there.
Maybe there are some Babysitters remaining in the packs I haven't searched. Perhaps somebody else got a few. I may have mistaken them for something else and left them on the rack, erring on the side of caution. I'm not collecting the set, so I've been searching for valuables and ones I want personally.
Got several Penguins and Little Devils, a couple of Photographers, and a few Desert Warriors (this is the army I'm building out of this series)... and a Cyborg by mistake.
I avoided tipping off other locals before I have a chance to get the stuff myself. I do want to spread the word about something others may want. And saying you already got something may keep other shoppers from wasting their time.
I examine packs in store and only go to the register with the ones I want. Buy and return is at best an extra step. Buying them blind doesn't make sense.
Also, none of the three Target stores I've checked have any polybags, at the registers or anywhere. Oh well.
Some Targets lowered their Jurassic World sets today to 50% off. I was able to find a few #75919 Indominus Rex and 5 #75918 T-Rex. Something was up with Targets and the 3 smaller sets. All 3 stores say they have multiples in stock...according to Brickseek and Targets own scanners...but at all 3 stores none could be found. They were on the Lego shelves last week and then 'supposed' to be moved to the endcap clearance shelves...yet none can be found and no one has any idea. I'm guess they got sent back to corporate.
BTW, San Jose Toy show is today, maybe a dealer would be unloading JW sets there for a deal.
i thought it was next weekend. Oh well, can't make it.
hopefully they have one more show before Christmas
You know it!
Is Lego still making Jurassic World sets or are they just trying to get rid of the unsold ones?
