Now make the real Lego version. :)
I had just read about a small boy who thinks the square heads of Minecraft figures mean that the sets are not "real" lego.
So I should have said something like "Now make the landscape with Minifigures and Lego vegetation, instead of Minecraft lego blocks."

Just a little thing, but I love the mown and un-mown grass...
This car has been in the works for a month now. A big thanks to Sariel's Lego model scaler for proper proportion and Brunojj1 for pushing me to use scaling. It is truely rewarding building a car to perfect car in every detail. Dugald built the awesome chassis, and I designed and built the rest. This beast has a custom made supercharged V12, working steering wheel, servo for steering and 2x XL motors for drive, torsion bar suspension. Utilizing the large Porsche rims, we had to gear down the servo so it turns proper. The toughest part of this build were the doors. This has been my most complicated build to date... I hope you all enjoy!

given my five year old will be all over these it was important they had play features to go with the look a feel as well as stand up to being played with, and to that end I think I have cracked it.
the Treasure island does borrow a bit from other sets, which really begs the question why didn't Lego do the same and give us something better last year. The asstute among you will see that the Skull Cave feature is lifted from the Scooby Doo Lighthouse set and opens the same way. The bridge that attaches it to the main island is from the Goblin King set and retains its fun exploding feature. the hut and 'prison' are for the Canibal Island set and the base of the central lookout tree come from the friends jungle set. The tip of the island is the shipwreck pirate set from 2016. All that is set against a multi levelled island that has a small fort ruin at the front and a hidden treasure chest at the back of the small lagoon.
over on the fort we have a 360 degree structure with a small prison, with removable back wall (should you wish your pirates to escape). The inner ramp and fortification features are a direct nod to the design of the original 1989 set and the jetty with outer buildings are mostly the pieces from last years set. Three rotating cannons will give the Pirates something to think about. The play features are less here, but with the cannons, prison and jetty there is still enough kids to play with.
obviously the Brick Bounty is the Brick Bounty, although it does look a bit big next to the island and fort, or maybe the island and fort are a bit small...
I'm pretty happy with the garage. I specifically wanted something a SC car would fit in and it barely works. :)
No the door seal has broken !
Star Scavenger, big booty edition. I had been just going to rear-end park the SS on a shelf so the back wouldn't be visible much - the front's fine - but now I've seen all of Freemaker Adventures and really enjoyed it, I wanted to do better. Apart from the basic dimensions and some of the details, it's mostly just using whatever parts I had to hand that seemed to look like they belonged with the 'canon' parts. Sadly there's no ventral scoop, since the one included with the set is way too small compared to the new size of the back end.
Rather pleased with that. I did start out trying to include the 'fins' on the cockpit that seem a fairly distinctive part of the Outrider's look (using the printed disc, but a narrower cone behind it in black, and building the fins and grey 'hull' around it) but at that size I couldn't figure out a way to do it without it being way too bulky and ungainly, so I decided it wasn't that distinctive a feature after all. Luckily no two images on google seem to agree on exactly what the ship looks like, so I picked and chose based on whimsy and what I could figure out how to build; my main goal was to get the 'cutouts' in the saucer, and I'm happy with those. As a bonus, underneath all that grey there are a bunch of inner bits in whatever colours I grabbed at random since they wouldn't show anyway, which makes it feel authentically Lego.
Another 8x8 Vignette for the new Collectible Minifigures Series I created for the Brickfanatics website. This is the Ice Cream I mean Queen.
I have the snack bar and ice cream cart sets both from childhood. The snack bar was always an integral part of me and my brothers summer holiday Lego city!
Not exactly a MOC, but I'm army building with CMF S16 Rogue, and just got up to 16:

I'm also collecting S15 Frightening Knight and have 5 of those:

I have a lot of small medieval models and want something bigger.
A few custom stickers will be needed but should work great :D
Just created this in a little display case i found. Just awaiting a black torso, which may be a while considering the weather I'm in at the moment!
