Seems to be on the shelves in John Lewis for £19.99. This was taken in their London, Oxford Street store.

    It's £30 on amazon

Am I the only one who thinks £30 is a bit excessive for what these are?

I might be missing something here though (like 500 hidden bricks)

I bought last's years back in January or Feb when it was 30% off to use for this year.

@legomental I think that's a previous year's. When you search this year's set number it doesn't show up. At £20 I've still got mixed feelings; if they ever do another castle one, though...

It's a "sum is worth more than the parts" sort of item. Just as a bunch of bricks? Overpriced. As nice small builds that slowly become a bigger (if a bit strange) scene as a child counts down the days to Christmas? I'd say it's a fair price.

    Fat Santa.

(I guess I'm not getting a Christmas present this year.)

They always show up on my base about Dec 5th but are regular priced at $14.95.  in January they go to $7.50. same for friends.  Star wars is always priced at $17.95.
