For £200 off a local Facebook page I got 20+ kilos. At least 40 different sets with minifigures in very good condition!! Some of the highlights being

    9526 Star Wars palatines arrest
    9496 Star Wars desert skiff
    7965 Star Wars millennium falcon
    7346 creator seaside house
    31012 creator family house
    9476 LOTR Orc forge
    4207 city garage
    60008 city museum break in
    7208 city fire station
    7498 city police station
    4181 POTC Isla de muerta
    4192 POTC fountain of youth

but without doubt the main highlight is

    4184 POTC the black pearl

without doubt one of the best hauls I've had!! The £200 is worth it for the black pearl alone!

Went on a CMF hunt today. This one Target Greatland near me had Series 15's in every toy aisle. I even found a Disney CMF lying about. I also found half of a Series 16 Emo kid that the store let me take for free. Most places I went to only had cut-open bags.

@Maxime_1987 Non, je voulais juste savoir si je pourrais trouver un autre Town Hall ou d'autres modulaires pour cet excellent prix.

P.S. Sorry if some people don't understand this ;)

I was just in Quebec for a fly in fishing trip, but nowhere near the city.  It's funny because I remember wondering, "Where do people buy their Lego around here?"

Not my find, but my dad picked up ~17lbs of Friends LEGO sets from a local Goodwill for the grand total of $15. I went through the lot and it appears that everything might be complete. I was able to identify these sets just from looking through everything:

    #41068
    #41062
    #41065
    #41106
    #41075
    #41005
    #41035
    #41053
    #41055
    #41052
    #41102
    #3188
    #3189

There is probably another $100 worth of sets represented, so upwards of $600 worth MSRP of LEGO. My little girl played with it for hours this past Saturday :)

Nope, that is the sum total of my high school and basic college-level French knowledge.  Impressed, I'm sure...

My one-semester Japanese is even more impressive.

Local supermarket had a box of CMF S15 out - was all excited about the loose bags, then I discover there's an opened but full box behind it. I got 5 Shark Suit Guy, 2 Tribal Woman and an Animal Control. There was a Shark loose and I got an Animal Control confused with one of the Shark from the box. I couldn't find the 3rd Tribal Woman in the box.

I won a ebay auction for the Constitution Train set (minus box but with nearly all bags intact and only the underframe assembled) for less than RRP.

Finally picked up Stagecoach Escape #79108, adding it to my small stash... shown here with my carefully chosen collection (-the Falcon, AT-AT, Scooby Lighthouse, and Airjitsu Temple, plus Ewok Village and some small stuff behind the boxed sets).

My first Craigslist purchase! And made a new LEGO collector friend semi-locally, so that's always cool. :D

I've got most of the Lone Ranger sets, never seen the film but I really love the sets, especially the Constitution and Mine, its great they're still available dirt cheap!

The Mine is a must have!! Love everything about it. And yes, I can't believe how low The Lone Ranger sets go for, I'll definitely be finishing the series.

The movie is a lot of fun! Surprised me.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
As for The Lone Ranger, I understand the movie wasn't great but the LEGO theme makes for decent wild west sets.

Went back and got the other Shark and Indian. They were bags I had considered but ruled out the first time. Also found a loose Indian, that and a Farmer had been put in a box of non-LEGO figures.

I picked up http://brickset.com/sets/75114-1/First-Order-Stormtrooper at Walgreen's for $15 because I'd been wanting it and the price was okay. I went to another Walgreen's location and found the same thing for $5. I picked it up, but will probably give it to one of my sons. I'm looking for some of the others from the buildable figure series, but I'll wait for a similar price.

I also never knew that Walgreens had any LEGO sets. To be fair, for those of us who live in Texas, HEB (at least the large 'Plus' stores) have a decent LEGO sets selection, even with some discounts.
  • starwars4everstarwars4ever Member Posts: 489
My Walgreens always has some sets in stock, but never any sales. =(
  • datsunrobbiedatsunrobbie Member Posts: 1,818
^I've only hit sales on LEGO at Walgreens once, but when I did they blew out nearly every set on the shelf at 90% off at two locations near me. Discounts were not marked on the shelves, I'd have never gotten them if I had not checked with the in-store price scanner. Now I always check at least one set every time I visit Walgreens.
