Going to our nearest LEGO Store for the first time tomorrow!

I'm not actually sure there's anything I want at the moment, but I'll definitely be picking up the VIP Creator Tiger for my daughter.

Watch this space to see if I manage to come out of the store without anything for myself...

That's pretty impressive - going to a Lego shop planning to buy nothing but pick up a freebie. Not giving you good odds on that one, especially if it's your first visit to the Lego Store. It's worse than an Apple Store for infectious expenditure!
Well I did manage it (just) - the only LEGO that left the store with us was for little Miss xwingpilot:

I have to admit though, I was tempted to buy #75095 after having a close look at the box. That one is seriously on the cards if #75144 turns out to be a disappointment next year.

Little Master xwingpilot thoroughly enjoyed the experience too - he put two Duplo flowers on his fingers and ran around the store (much to the amusement of the staff). That's one-year-olds for you :)

It was really good to see #42056 and #75060 built and on display too.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience :)

Well done! I don't think I'd have been that restrained - I blame the wife! I love the little Emily Jones set - my youngest daughter really liked the baby dragon. You've also reminded me about the TIE Fighter - must build that someday soon! And Slave 1 come to think of it...

And today it looks like I'll be watching the Elves Minimovie with little Miss xwingpilot and then building #41171 with her (while her brother continues to run around with Duplo flowers on his fingers) :)

Got a bunch of small plastic tubs to organize my BrickLink inventory; Target had a sale on them last week.
Finally dusted off my main display and added to my US flag mosaic. I'm short on red 2x3's, so I've been substituting a combination of smaller bricks. I recently got a few, and got out some 2-wides rather than waiting for all the 1-wides to go with them.
Also finally going to build #31044 Park Animals and #5004419 Classic Knights Minifigure

Walmart had The Mystery Machine marked down to $20 so we finally pulled the trigger and bought it and the new Spiderman set with Ghost Rider.

^ Hey now, @hoodaddy saw the rug in person and said it wasn't that bad. What was his words again? "Well, it isn't my taste, but it does tie the room together." Which means, the rug is hideous (not as much as Market Street is). Yes, I know...It needs to go, but we have been through so much together :)
yeah, that was pretty much what I said. Certainly not something I would buy, but I don't have much talent for interior decorating. It does look better with those castle sets on it though...

A sneaky trip to the LEGO shop to check out the Disney Castle (in the plastic) led to me buying 75828 and due to accrued VIP points it only cost me a tenner.

Last few weeks have been organizing/storing LEGO instructions and sorting out the mess I have in my storage area (read: apartment). So no building (sets) for a while. Been getting my fix by building Mixels at the office... one per day... *sigh*

    i just finished #42042
and after being told to triple check each step. when i was working on the gear box. i still got one part wrong. and i was almost done with it to.
worked out it be faster to rip down the hole gear box and start over (after i had a sleep)
    2nd try was all good.

so now i have a nice BIG model, to display. did i say it was big?
i got it on the end of the table so it look like it pulling a load up from blow the table.
i am happy with it and seeing as i only payed £69.95, i am very happy with it.

We're doomed now that's been posted.

Somebody will be searching intending to find something else but land here by mistake. They will then go away and apply some of the other terms on this page to their particular "interests". "Icing sandwich", "sausage cupcake", "bacon donut" - perhaps even "Market Street" - will soon have new, rather colourful, meanings.
Market Street should at least be added to The Urban Dictionary. I thought that someone wanted a "Cream Pie" from Ki-Adi-Mundii in another thread on here. I really think the "Counterfeit" and "Modular" threads have fried my brain and my eyes. Then after all of that a Bricksetter sends me this text...

So I suggested building the above "employee" three times larger, and leaving off the head and arms so kids stand behind it for pictures. The idea has taken off:

Pondering whether to order #71006 Simpsons House now or wait a week to get the September promo instead of the #5004404 Police Chase Race. (already have one)
Any confirmation whether we also get Nexo Knights Ultimate Lavaria in Europe? (listed on the September US calendar)
