i have 3 words for you, "pick a brick"
haha yes.  One 2x2 med blue flat tile.  I'm sure I can find a use for it.

I'm worried about my minifigure collection.

I noticed that lately they've been keeping a close eye on the shelve space currently occupied by the Disney Infinity figures; and I swear I heard them whisper last night after I went to bed. A bubble wrap roll disappeared last week and today I can't find my tape dispenser.

I fear a hostile take over might take place in the following days. It must be that dreadful President Business! I saw him a couple of weeks ago meeting with the Toy Story Alien army CMF (Commander of Military Force).

If they conquer the DIF (Disney Infinity Federation), Amiibo-land will probably be next. Rumor says that Amiibo-land is trying to secure an alliance with the South Park Republic of Colorado, but a treaty with Grand Wizard Cartman could be worse, specially since he controls the Coon and his army of "superheroes".

I finally pulled my finger out and sorted my study and somehow found room for a couple of Ikea tables, which have enough room for my printer, my work laptop and... All my modulars! :-)
I've no idea what I'm going to do when next year's one is released... More tables, probably... ;-)

Next job is to actually create a nice park, rather than just dumping a couple of sets on a green baseplate, but that's going to have to wait until another day and also after completing the Ferris Wheel.

@judgechuck - well done on getting all your MBs on display! They look great. Next one is out early next year so you're good for 6 months! :-)

Also dig the Friends calendar - I know I'd like little kittens to show me what the date is.

@MaffyD, yes, 5-6 months to come up with a plan!

It was touch-and-go fitting them on that table, as there's about two inches of overlap on the left and one inch on the right. You can't see them in the original picture, but I had to cram my guitar rigs up against the wall tight to make just enough space:

Had a less than successful trip to LEGOLAND Windsor today. Last day of our time off together so figured a surprise day would be fun. Started in the 4D cinema for the new LEGO Movie short.....too dark, scary, leaping out the screen in a 3D way and the fireball mid way through finished it for her! Downhill all the way to bed after that. Didn't fancy any rides, didn't fancy walking. There was a brief break when she decided she wanted her L drivers license. Picked up a few polys that were around and nabbed the LL Train in the shop before heading home. She said she enjoyed everything apart from the cinema and SW section, so must be a win in there somewhere!

@Legopants You'll need counselling by the time you'll get home with all these traumas!
(*IF* you manage to get home in 1 piece. And with your pants. That Claw of Hades really seems to like your pants.)

Nice! Did you build it for the castle though or for the army of dragons? (Not a unicorn in sight?!)

Say what? Does that mean the mystery woman who came to the door selling unicorn horns, hen's teeth and Mermaid hair was a fraud?

wow! what that 70's or 80's knight theme's?
as cool as that looks and it dose look cool. it don't call out to me. not in the way the newer set's like nexo knights, star wars, and other set's in the last 3 years dose.
i don't know if i can pin point what changed, but something with the way lego make the sets has change in the last 30 or 40 years.
other's who have a better eye, may have the skill to explain what it is i seeing but dont know the words to explain.

But your all-important dragons-to-knights ratio is decreasing!
(All my Castle stuff is 80's, so no dragons. Should probably go through the BL rabbit hole to get some though.)

I got a #6097 Knight Lord's Castle at Brickfair (well, I got the box and some of the parts- mainly the box), and I was looking at the box yesterday. I never realized that older Castle boxes had bits of story on them. Does anyone here have pictures of these story panels, or the text?
