Nearly fell threw my dad's attic when I was in it and the floor collapsed. Lucky for me, my knee hit a crossbeam and stopped me from falling to the concrete ground below. Not so lucky for my knee. 15 years later and my knee still acts up from time to time.

I don't get a lot of injuries as such, but I'm missing a large chunk of my digestive system due to surgery for Crohn's. So I do have an epic scar!

Injury-wise, it's mostly been painful near-misses where I get cut on jagged wire, but my tetanus jab is up-to-date, or I walk into a metal bar, but only a lump ensues. I'm clumsy that way.

Edit: oh yeah, let @legoboy have my place if I win!

multiple dislocations of the same shoulder: The best ones were once when skydiving, another time when seakayaking and I capsized (found myself upside down underwater with a popped shoulder) and another during the sea swim phase of an ironman (1km out to sea and it popped).

My left hand's middle finger in 3rd grade playing Dodge Ball. Tried catching a fast one but could only get the tip of my finger on it, essentially snapping it back and breaking.

@MattsWhat and @TheOriginalSimonB cysts with stitches exist, I've got some. The buggers were pressing on important nerves but since they are part of spine they couldn't be cut out. so neurosurgeon drained them, stitched them and wrapped them with the pericardium of a cow. There you go ;)

Not my worst injury, but as we are sharing nasty incidents I thought I would throw my 'being hit by lightning' in the mix.....
Still makes me laugh at just how many people told me how lucky I was, sure didn't feel lucky.

Also I'm still waiting on the super speed to kick in.
You've got to tell us more about this... Please explain in every detail. I'm very curious, particularly as it isn't your worst injury. What was the pain like?

Were any of your senses affected? Many moons ago, while driving, I witnessed lightning strike a tree branch in front of me (probably ten to fifteen metres away). The strike was enough to blast the branch to bits and, thank the maker, my speed was enough that by the time the branch hit the road my van had passed. It did blind me totally for about six hours and resulted in an overnight hospital stay (standard OP for any major electrocution in Australia). It took many months for my senses to fully recover - I had weird spots in my vision (and could see strange stuff), could hear  frequencies outside the range of my standard hearing (particularly where any sort of electrical flow was involved) and everything tasted metallic (at worst) and just 'different' at best. I wouldn't say it gave me super powers per se but I firmly believe that it has permanently affected the way my brain works...

@MAGNINOMINISUMBRA I did have the strange taste thing, lots of muscle pain, and the weirdest thing, which I am sure has a rational explanation somewhere but have never found it.
The day I was discharged from the hospital I went to get some rest in my bedroom, I laid down and thought my boys would come up and disturb me, so got up to lock the door (we put a lock on as we had medicines in the bedroom at the time), but it wasn't until I got up that I remembered that the lock was on the outside of the door.  After about an hour of sleep I got up, to find the door locked from the outside.  My wife and kids hadn't got back home, so I'm at a loss to explain it, but did make me feel I had somehow locked it, so closest thing to a superpower yet :-)

A penalty shot (I think) in field hockey took off from three feet away and slammed me hard in the head, about half-an-inch from my temple. Its momentum toppled me over and I did lose consciousness briefly, but there didn't seem to be any other consequences. Other than that I've lead a pretty lucky life!

For once I don't mind coming late to the party as of course I'd have donated my spot to @Legoboy!

^Re the door locking thing - yep, had quite a few of those 'weird' kind of things happen... Probably the one that sounds the least insane is for quite a few years I would be singing a song in my head only to jump into the car or walk into a room and it would turn out I was singing along before I could hear the radio...

The worst injury I've ever had was when I was 8 my bike fell over (it still had training wheels, making it all the more embarrassing) and I ended up fracturing my left arm.

Minor injuries include slicing my pinky finger to the bone trying to open a bottle of Mountain Dew for a friend, breaking my pinky toes probably a half dozen times total, and nearly being rendered deaf in one ear because my brother thought it was a good idea to shove the sharp end of a paintbrush down my ear.

Not sure if entering is still open but in 2010 I broke my skull (laceration required 52 stitches), a shattered pelvis, broke 5 ribs, and lost all recall for roughly 4 months after being hit by a train.

    ^^ Damn!

Hit by a car, 21 stitches in my leg and severed nerve. Pretty sure the nerve won't heal despite the doctors saying it would, 16+ years ago.
