I might need a few extra pieces.
But only if you squint - which I am now doing ;-)
...and here is the rail suspended from the ceiling.
and it's my BIRTHDAY!!!!!
This time of year is always an expensive one as an avid SH collector.
It starts with the hype around the SDCC exclusives and then making sure i can get my hands on them. I've managed to get them through this forum again this year, so that's the first part of the puzzle done.
But then as with each of the past couple of years, I find myself waiting for them to arrive from the US and so there isn't an immediate 'fix' to sedate me. So this year it was hello to Argos's 3 for 2:
#76054 Harvest of Fear
#76055 Killer Croc Sewer Smash
#76051 SH Airport Battle
#76061 Batman vs Catwoman
From Amazon as the last of the Mighty Micros I 'needed' as it had finally come down in price a little.
Then just to top it off as I'm now in full on spend mode, this morning I finally pulled the trigger on:
#41492 Iron man and Captian America
*Must resist getting the rest of the BrickHeadz*....... :-s
Thanks to @Huw for running such a great site. Here's to another five brilliant Brickset years! :-)
LEGO Elves has been a little bit light on animals (and on a separate note, vehicles) this year due to all the emphasis on dragons, but maybe next year we might start seeing more types of fantasy creatures.
(If you find nudity offensive look away now)
always good advise where nudity is involved
Oh look!!! She's riding Sarah Jessica Parker
Public nudity is bad? I wish I would have known that a few years ago when I came across a public fountain on a hot day ;)
My status is getting the word out. Check out Legoboy's charity raffle thread, only a week left to buy tickets.
Don't miss all the fun and excitement that will be the "live" draw right here on brickset. It'll be a hoot. Tickets are £1 each. All proceeds to a very worthy cause.
It'd also be awesome to see pictures of other people's sigfigs next to the same message. :o)
(Go big, or go home!)
Nobody seems to be able to help (unless anyone here has got any ideas, but I feel I'm the only member here who plays it!) and there's nothing about it on the Internet at all. I spent an hour trying to look it up with no success. Looks like an email to LEGO is my only option, luckily it seems CS can deal with app issues as well.
It's not going to be as integrated as I had hoped, partly due to simple space limits, but at least I've got a mini mountain developing! :-)
I need more plates though...
Hoping that Lego C.S. still have some spares available.
Just saw this nightmare on the front page. Every time I think I have clicked through all the awful stuff from this era I come across something even worse like this cyborg/centipede disaster. Shudder.
Looks like Mer-man from He-Man and the Skeksis from Dark Crystal had a love child.
If you haven't already, pop over and offer your support no matter how small or large. It all makes a difference.
While at TRU...
"Look! The new Ghostbusters set!"
"We need it. We already have the other one."
"I'll be in the car."
A legit AFOL was at TRU... ;)
You have until August 04 to buy tickets!
Thank you. :)
Still don't know what I am going to buy; too many options. Considering redeeming some VIP points to get #10247 Ferris Wheel... not that I have any place to put it after its built.
So tonight I'll have someone come pick up 10 kgs that I don't want, and then go pick up about 10 kgs of cooler stuff.
Can't wait to see what is in there!
Whoa. Serenity now!!!
