Only "major" mistake that slipped past my radar when building was on the #10221 SSD, fubar'd with the rotation of one of those clip-holes for the rear section by turning it by 90 degrees, wasn't caused by manual though

Mine was not 'quartering' the driving wheels and rods on #10194 Emerald Night, resulting in a wobbly ride and occasionally the whole drive train seizing up. To be fair, it was in the instructions but I hadn't realised it was so important to have differing wheel alignments on either side! And that was just the first step in tuning up the mechanism to try and get a smoother ride - there a whole article in Railbricks (I think) about it...

Was building #10193 and was nearly finished with the roof when I pushed just a little to hard and basically put my hand through the whole house and it fell to the floor and exploded.

Has anyone else done this sort of pushing through? It has been awhile but I did it several times when I came out of my dark ages and started building.
