Just picked up the new Ghostbusters ecto 1, a hotdog man key ring, and a silver brick keyring for my lady, got a free retro knight and fountain, not bad for £38 after using my £20 from the gift card.

^Is that Tumbler based on an MOC design? Doesn't look like the tan set one modded in black, but can't quite make out the pieces either.

classic space "wings" in any colour. You know, the pre-2005 wedge plates with that wonderful little notch cut out on the corner. Love those pieces. That is what I'm buying. Stock piling them. Hoarding them, even. Why? Winter is coming. It is only months away ;)

I picked up #21108 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 yesterday and built it last night. What a great looking car! :-) The minifigs are excellent and I love the proton packs as well.
It was quite late at night and I was wondering what the four Medium Stone Grey 4542590: Stick Ø 3.2 W. Holder parts were for, sticking up out of the middle of the car...The, having put the side windows together with the 4611702: Plate 1X2 W. Vertical Schaft parts, it was one of those very pleasant "Ahhhh, that's what they're for!" moments...
Great model, great build and excellent parts in unusual colours (especially all the Cool Silver ones).

It's quite a coincidence that you say this. Recently I was on Bricklink looking for these in light bluish gray for a project I am putting together, and after a few low price ones, they start jumping into the range of a dollar or more per piece. Luckily, I was able to find an auction for #4492 with includes 2 of both the left and right wing piece which came out to costing me only a few dollars more than what I would have paid for the wings alone without shipping.

    #31039

With £10 off it's good value for money and will go well with my other Creator aircraft. Getting a classic knight with ballista with it was icing on the cake.

In theory, nothing. I'm off on a LUG trip to Billund in September so I'm trying to save up for the employee's store.

In practice though, I have no willpower, so I've put little orders into S@H this month and last to get the free Fountain and Classic Knights set. I'll probably do the same next month to get the London Bus.

The freebies at the moment are just too good!

LUGs get an opportunity every 3 years to visit Billund. You typically get a visit to the factory, a presentation from a Lego designer, a tour of the Lego Ideas House and, obviously, a visit to the employee store. Oh, and Lego might provide lunch. Brickset did one last year - http://bricksetforum.com/discussion/19341/brickset-members-destination-billund-2015-‏/p1

I just picked up #75139 - Battle on Takodana for £29.06 on Amazon!

Being a fan of Star Wars: the Force Awakens (2015) I couldn't turn down that perfect Minifigure selection. We can all agree that it's RRP of £49.99 was a little outrageous, it's RRP should've been £39.99, which proves why this set is constantly on sale around that price.

After watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) the absence of the interior is a shame, it contained so many delights and awesome scenarios. My plan is to make a separate model that can be connected with this set as an extension of this set like #9516 - Jabba's Palace and #75005 - Rancor Pit or completely redesign the set and add the cantina area. If you know me I would prefer to make a movie accurate model. However I may also design an extension so others can add it to their own set.

Adzbadboy: Lucky you getting it for that p32rice, was it that price for a very short while today?

I bought it too, along with #75140 resistance transporter and #75148 encounter on Jakku in the Argos 3 for 2.

I also went for a Buildable Obi-Wan, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma, also on the 3 for 2.

Tried to pick up 3 Galactic empire troopers battlepacks on another 3 for 2, but they charged my card for 2 and could then  only find one. Apparently there was only ever 1 in stock, but the system allowed me to pay for 2. The manager was confident that i'd only actually been charged for 1 despite what my receipt said. I got a stock transaction printout with a short note so I can chase up the other £8.99 if they did actually charge me £17.98. I got a refund, but only at £8.99.

    All boxes were slightly squashed.

Yup, it only lasted an hour after I purchased for it to raise in price, currently #75139 and #75140 have both gone back up to RRP.

A #10129 Maersk train for £180 and #7994 Harbour set for £40 + postage for both.

The train even had a 9V motor in the pictures, so I'm tempted to see if it has one when it arrives...

Usually I mention my purchases in the relevant store thread instead of here - got a lot on sale at WalMart or Target lately, and some S@H orders for promos.
Got a small bag of DUPLO at a garage sale Saturday for 50c. A few common bricks worth about a dollar on BrickLink ($1.26 actually), a DUPLO animal and 2 oversized MegaBloks for young houseguests to play with, some LEGO knockoffs slightly oversized and with an odd bottom structure.

Two sets from Amazon arrived today.

#31023 Yellow Racers. I'm really getting into this minifigure-scale Creator vehicles. Wish I had noticed them before (that they were minifigure-scale). They have Creator sets with minifigures; how hard it is to include a generic pilot/driver minifigure with this sets?

Also, my second #31032 Red Creatures. Loved the dragon and wanted the scorpion.
