I thought it was just me. :)
So I'm not the only one who was annoyed by the loading time for these images.
One image and then links to others are better and make the site run smoother.

I think it's even in the rules somewhere - or, maybe that's just for @Shib's monthly building competition, which is where I became aware of it, but I think it's a good rule generally...

Agree with both of the above. Link to a gallery. Share a picture or two in the thread.

^ Good conversion. I am planning to do a wider one to get 2, 6 wide vehicles side by side. I just need a few more parts.

@Venunder why not buy two and combine them?
  • dutchlegofan50dutchlegofan50 Zwolle, NetherlandsMember Posts: 200
@MattDawson : to get a 2 times (length and width) bigger one, you need 4 sets: 2x2.

@dutchlegofan50 but @Venunder only mentioned width, not length...
  • chrisalddinchrisalddin UKMember Posts: 2,860
i would like to point out that until seeing that image of 2 set's in one.
i did not think to do this. i feel so ashamed.

The length and width of the ferry depends on the size of river you have to cross.
My river was not going to be very wide, so a wide ferry is the best option.

A long ferry would end up being half a bridge. :)

Amen to the "one picture and a link to an album" discussion.  It was driving me nuts too.

^ thanks. Sort of inspired by Boorman's Excalibur near the end where all the remaining surviving knights ride through the blossom to Valkyrie.

Hi here is our Lego Land Rover creation which we decided to put on Lego Ideas. We are constantly trying to improve/add new models and would hope this could possibly be a kit as there is little difference between the Series and Defender models. We have just managed to make a remote control version by changing the chassis so they are very versatile.

please take a look and if you like it please register your support, we are over halfway to Lego review stage and here is the link.

Is there a thread for moc/custom minifigs? Haven't noticed one. Need to build half a staircase with a headless peacock to go with this guy

This is The Orangery - a super exclusive bar for my Lego town.

It was born from fiddling around with the roof of #4439 - Heavy Lift Helicopter (which I received as a gift but had no use for in my town layout), and seeing what I could make from it.
Anyway if you'd like to see more pics - they're on by blog here

Loosely based off a corvette design, I created this back and white supercar out of Lego.
Driven by 2 l-motors and a servo placed all in same spot behind the seats.
I know the engine should be in the front but whatever, like the look of it in the back wink

It's not that exclusive - they let that one guy in wearing his sports gear ;)
This would look epic if you had it set up like a wedding reception, good stuff.
