So I'm not the only one who was annoyed by the loading time for these images.
One image and then links to others are better and make the site run smoother.
it was taking a age to load the page.
it was driving me up the wall.
More pics in my Flickr album.
i did not think to do this. i feel so ashamed.
My river was not going to be very wide, so a wide ferry is the best option.
A long ferry would end up being half a bridge. :)
Made a few BrickLink orders, now to wait for them to arrive...

It was born from fiddling around with the roof of #4439 - Heavy Lift Helicopter (which I received as a gift but had no use for in my town layout), and seeing what I could make from it.

WIP . . . I'm calling it King Krentz's Castle Keep.
He got the roof idea from the latest issue of Blocks magazine, but I was most impressed by the way he made the round walls. I was going to show him the round 1x1 followed by 1x2 brick technique, but by the time I had gathered the parts he had come up with the idea shown in the second picture, after dismantling Jabba's Sail Barge. I have never seen round walls built this way so I was rather proud. Although that drumstick is going to be very well done on that fire.
