Not sure- there are lots of websites though. I'll let someone more knowledgeable direct you, but I feel I should add, if there are any "custom" markered minifigs (which seem to be in half the lots I get), use rubbing alcohol to wipe on them.

thanks @SprinkleOtter . Do you recognize these sets?

Is there a thread out there for specifically cleaning yellowing white pcs?
What I read about whitening bricks that are yellowing was to put them in a container with hydrogen peroxide and leave them out in the sun for a while (I left them out for around 24 hours). This worked perfectly for me when I cleaned up my #7191 that started yellowing.

Top one is Sith Nightspeeder (There are no Sith in the set, but whatever...).

Bottom is from a Star Wars Brickmaster kit. Hunt for the Crystal, I think is the name.

How'd did you come about this gold mine?  Just a random Craigslist ad?  Friend of a family member?  Seems like a once in a lifetime find for the uninitiated.
  • TheMaker37TheMaker37 Member Posts: 496
@Dedgecko Just found it on CL and acted quickly. I know now as I have been really digging into the boxes how lucky I was.

I will try and put a list up this weekend. I will also be finding out what is lurking in this box, there appears to be some large sets bubble wrapped underneath all the clutter at the top.

Ha. You are showing a lot of restraint. I'd have looked through all the boxes and bubble wrap day one =)

^^ I like waiting to find out, the anticipation of what is lurking at the bottom of the box keeps me going, otherwise the process may become stale and no longer fun. I spend most of my free time on this project and I don't want to come out of it feeling burnt out, I want to feel satisfied. I only came out of my dark ages 1.5 years ago, so the hobby is still new to me. . The building, breaking down a set without losing pieces, knowing what the market value of a set is, sorting and entering my spare parts to Rebrickable and just cataloging has aided my ability to get thru this. Oh and I can't forget about all you Bricksetters, I have been educated reading this forum

    words fail me.

    the shear number of sets,
it's hard to tell. but i think there are more sets in this lot then i own myself.

however it is nice to know that i am not the only one who puts built sets in a tub and forgets about them.
