Selling my sets on EBid

Just checking but can i let people know that i have auctions on ebid?

I used to use ebay until i got chucked off because of the stupid 5star rating system. So i joined Ebid so i can get rid of some spare Lego and can't trade any as i'm suppossed to be getting rid of stuff :o(

If i can i can post my ID and hopefully peopel can bid.

Also why doesn't ebid appear on the Lego set entries like the ebay ones do?

Thanks in advance Hob.

Basically, you can place an advert in the marketplace category, ie:
I have listed a RARE MISB 4757 Hogwarts Castle from 2003, with a starting bid of only 99p!

    [link to ebay]
(I wish that auction was real!)

@Hob - Since you want to publicize your sets for sale on EBid and have provided the necessary link, I've gone ahead and updated your thread title and moved it to Marketplace. Good Luck!

Just checked out eBid's affiliate scheme and it looks to be totally unsuitable for integration with Brickset: it's more concerned with getting people to sign up as buyers or sellers rather then on selling specific lots.

Oh well just a thought. Would of been nice to have the 2 sites listed. Ebay is not very good for sellers any more, well in my experience any way.

unfortunately I don't think there are many buyers on ebid. (i wonder whether you are better off selling 3222 on BL as you may get a better price than ebid, currently no UK 3222s for sale on there).

    @hobb I really want 3222

@Hob, I'm with you on eBay and there ever worsening attitude to sellers. My most recent experience of the customer service made me sell my latest (none LEGO) item via Facebook!

Hi guys just a reminder that my auctions are ending tonight so if you wanna take a look and bud then please do.

I can combine postage and collection within Bristol is fine.

    Any questions please ask.

Sorry mate. If there's any problems i'll let you have first crack at it.

Are you happy with the price you got?
  • HobHob Member Posts: 223
A bit shocked really i didn't even know this set was so sought after. I would of sold it ages ago if i did.

Normally as long as i can get back what i paid for it plus a little bit more i'm happy.
