I must have the worst Targets. They have zero polybags and they don't have any disney cmf's because they are fully stocked with S15.

My local Target just put out a fresh box of Series 15 and there at least another 40 shoved into a side display. I imagine it will be some time before we see any Disney here.

I'm sure they have the Disney cmfs in the back. Just be polite and find someone to go check for you. Odds are that if they do still have them in the back they can identify the box by the big " Dont display before March 1st" sticker on it.

My Target is 5 minutes away from my house and i am in there all the time. I've asked multiple people and I've shown them pictures of what they look like. So at this point they probably don't have them or they are complete morons.

Picked up a couple #70228 at Target. Clearance tags said $19.98, but they scanned for $13.98

I ended up ordering the High Speed train and a bunch of the road plates. They were on sale for $12 limit 3 each.

City Square is 131 and change.
Train station is 41 and change...
Demolition set is 55 and change

High speed train is down to 82 and change, but sold out apparently, but Amazon has it for the same price.

I also think this link may show a few more things on sale (like the road plates being on sale)

    http://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=lego&category=0&facets=d_deals:Sale&view=medium&sort=relevance&iec=0&resultsPerPage=60&page=1&s=y

Have a better link for the road plates?  I couldn't find them anywhere on the above link.

Wonder if any of those sales are in store. Website apparently has a quantity limit of 3.
I see Friends Pop Star on sale in a lot of places, and already got those sets for my own collection. #41103 and #41104 were already marked down, so they end up about half off. Similar for #41106 at a third off.
I like the concepts of #41116 and #41120, but the chair and animal on the latter seem extraneous.

Seriously? I'm in southern MN and got my Disney figs on April 15th. It was a fresh, new, unopened box, too.

Yea man this weekend I went to 2 TRU, 3 Targets and 3 Walmarts and none of them have Disney CMF's.

I saw a couple chima sets on a back endcap for 30%-50% off.
  • ThoughtsonblocksThoughtsonblocks Member Posts: 178
20% off friends, city, duplo and minecraft.

  • dragon114dragon114 Member Posts: 642
Did they have any new sets
  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
My local Target did not have any of the new sets. I figure they are trying to make room for them.

None at mine either, i am having a much harder time finding early releases at retailers this wave.
  • erequenaerequena Member Posts: 52
Target.com is having a 20% sale on their prices (which translates to about 30% MSRP) on a bunch of sets, mainly from City. but there are some Ninjago and Friends as well
  • dragon114dragon114 Member Posts: 642
seem like stores have overstock on lego and are trying to make room for the new stuff

Well, it took 3 trips to my local Target in Redmond, WA but I was finally able to complete the Disney CMF series. For anyone in the area - they are in the side display of the Lego aisle. Looked to me like they replenished the supply of packets every day.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
No #41103 or #41104 in person but I don't recall seeing them before anyway. Some sets had 20% off tags already. The price checker showed those sets at that price, not 40% or 36% off.

A couple dozen CMF 15 left. Didn't feel any Shark or Queen, which is what I expected, but I was hoping for luck.

A local supermarket had a huge sale on 2015 sets January 2016 to make room for the new stuff. That brought me out of my dark age, so the concept has a special place in my heart.

I just stopped by a target about 30 miles from me (only 2 in my area, the other is closer), and the had a full rack of Simpsons Series 2  Must have been 120+, $3.99 each.
The only place that has Disney CMFs around me is ToysRus, none at Wal-mart, Walgreen's, or the other target.

For those looking for Disney CMF or any other series, the Minifigures Plus deal they offer here at Brickset is great and you don't have to search.

My Disney CMF for the entire series were delivered to my door for $73, even savings over RRP+tax.
  • TheLoneTensorTheLoneTensor Member Posts: 3,937
"Offered," but agreed.  They are professional, punctual, reputable, communicative and competitively priced - what more can you ask for?  Anyone even remotely interested in purchasing CMFs should consider them first.

^ and ^^ completely agree.  He has been my go to source for a few series now on eBay even before it was offered here.  I may not get day one but I don't have to hunt and search and at times I still get them before my Target ever gets around to putting them out.

    Got a link?
It seems a lot of CMF deals are for complete sets rather than singles, which makes sense given shipping.
I mentioned Shark because it's easy to feel for and definitely worth it even at MSRP. Queen isn't worth as much, but same idea.

It would great if Minifigures Plus gets in the #71014 for a good price.  I'd love a set of those but prices are currently way too steep.

Anyone else getting backordered comments from Target on the High Speed Passenger train?  First I was told it wouldn't ship until 5/31.  Now its been pushed back to end of June!

Saw the 75919 rex breakout on clearance for 90 and the 75917 raptor rampage for 35.  Bought the rampage as I had previously purchased the breakout set on craigslist for 75.  Originally went looking for the 75054 ATAT Walker which was listed on the Target website for 105.  Didn't find it.  It was a long shot I know.

I wonder if the Passenger Train will go the route as the Cafe and Bike Shop at Black Friday..a lot of those orders got cancelled from what I heard because of the demand at the lower price.

The scooby doo lighthouse is on sale for $35 at both Target and Walmart today (a few cents cheaper at target).  Our local store had it at the normal retail price but my wonderful wife got them to pricematch their online price.  As always, if you checkout (either in store or online) with your redcard then you will save an additional 5%.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
The store near me actually had 4 41104, they were behind another set with the same sized box. I got 3 Thursday and 1 Friday. No trouble getting them to price match their website. Not sure if they would've price matched 4 at once, didn't have the money Thursday anyway. Maybe if I got a credit card it should be a red card.

Went in looking for a Indominus Rex Breakout, #75919.

But after noticing tape over the original seals, I didn't want to chance it.

Then I noticed #10248 on the clearance shelf. Box has seen better days but seals look fine. Got it for 30% off + additional red card savings.

Glad to have gotten a "bargain"...

Sunday and Monday Target in Raleigh NC area has a buy $50. groceries and receive a $10. gift card. I did it twice using a Red card once and another credit card the second time. And there also is a buy $50 toys and get $10. off gift card or a buy $100. toys and get $25. off promotion. So saddled up them horses and hit the trail! Not much on sale at our Targets, but you always can use the gift cards later. (And everyone needs groceries now and then.)

I saw the ads for those promotions on Toys too, but if you look closely, it says that Lego is excluded.

Oops, I didn't notice that! (They have honored them for me before when they were out of the advertised specials for months at a time. It is worth a try!)
  • PicopiratePicopirate Member Posts: 325
I was in store and saw the signage for $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 foroys and sporting goods by texting PLAY10 or PLAY25 to "target".  I used the $10 coupon to get some camping supplies.  No exclusions were listed on the signage nor the coupon long that they sent me.  Might be worth arguing if it does not include Lego.
