I think I love it.  Remember, remember, the fifth of November.

Oh my. That blew away my expectations for this completely! That is enormous! And more than just the clock? Wow. Someone slap a UCS label on that thing! No idea how I can budget for one though.

So many tan microfigures. Didn't even notice them at first. This will be awesome for parts too.

got to be on par with Tower Bridge as piece count is almost identical.  So just over £200 here in the UK!

^keep in mind TB released ages ago. This will probably see a significant uptick in price to the degree other sets have in the similar lines over the last 5-6 years.

This makes up for the big set flops this year...

Time for a couple of screenshots before the image may be taken down..

@Ormskirkbricks - As Bumblepants says, TB was released in 2010 though and considering Sydney Opera House (2013) has about 3000 parts and was £250,  and in view of prices of the other 2016 D2Cs, I'd say you should probably adjust your expected price up to at least the same price of £250 if not more. I would love to be wrong about that though.

It is has 500 pieces less than GB Headquarters so I expect price to be between £220 & £240 mark

The entry here on BS, #10253 , lists an RRP of $349.99, so I think you're looking at a price of at least £250...

    It does look fantastic though!

Looks impressive, but surely a rather monotonous thing to build?
  • As a Star Wars fan, this set is more appealing than anything recent... especially Assault on Hoth - which appears to have stolen this set's UCS label

^ Nope, was that were it was set?

I find the cut of the model quite strange, including a very thin slither of the Houses of Parliament. I think I'd prefer a even bigger tower and less of the incomplete building.

    It looks very nice!

The burning question is, will it have numbered bags, or will LEGO have tried to capture the essence of London by making you spend much longer (by sorting bricks) in getting from your starting point to your destination? ;)

    - But I'll just consider it as it is, let's see about that Death Star.

Are those tan microfigures on the side of it? I count 32 of them if they are.

I suspect from the photos that release must be quite imminent. Someone has taken a photo of it on a wooden floor or table. I'd not be surprised if it's someone who has a pre-release copy for review.

It's the bit most tourists see, essentially being the view from Westminster Bridge Road. Yes, there are tours and things, but a lot of people just want a photo of the Elizabeth Tower, and end up with something that isn't dissimilar to the picture on the box. The rest of the Palace of Westminster has a more limited appeal.

No you haven't; they're still around. Googling might get you somewhere. Unfortunately, giving too much information would be frowned upon.

Tempted by this, because I have been up the clock tower and stood by Big Ben the bell when it struck, but then I've been up Tower Bridge too and not bought that yet as I have nowhere to display it.  Which will be the case here too.

Wow, that set is gorgeous (I saw the pictures elsewhere), but I don't have the space for it, so I'll have to be satisfied with the much smaller #21013 version for now.

Wow, it looks really good! I'm in two minds about whether it'd be a bit repetitive to build, but I guess we'll find out when someone reviews it. It'd certainly be a lovely display piece, and excellent for parts, for my purposes...

It's a very nice set, but just like the tower bridge, it doesn't have a whole lot of significance to me as a landmark. I'm sure it's a must buy for any body living near it or visited.

    Brickipedia say 1 July.

It also says £169.99, €219.99, $249.99, which doesn't seem right.

Maybe they are making up for Insult on Hoth.

A girl can dream that the price on Brickipedia is right... Anyway: Must have for me! I have already sacrificed a set on my wish list, so that will save me around 80€. (Goodbye Airport plans...) I think sooner or later I have to seriously cut back on buying the normal sets and only go for the bigger ones.
