30605-1: Finn (FN-2187)
Definitely not Addams Family fans.
I'm starting to think that deciding not to wait for this as my next big set was a good idea...
Really enjoying Rebels.
Kanan is really showing more Jedi qualities.
Glad Ezra is less annoying, too.
Love seeing Ahsoka in the series.
Also do you think the at-at could be a $500 ucs set? It's been awhile since we had one and I'm assuming they're going to try and scale it somewhat with the new ucs both speeder.
With the official height of 22.5 meters and a trooper height of ~1.85-1.87 meters.
I did say the total volume would be 3 times the size of first released AT-AT, so I would assume a 3 times increase in the price aswell, plus a little for the general price boost.
So, $ 300-350 UCS AT-AT?
I wonder if they'll include baddies.. Hope we'llget seventh sister to pair up with fifth brother (from the rex at-te)
This set is likely to be priced (with 936 Lego elements included) in NL at around €99,99 and (more likely) €129,99 RRP, and it only comes with five minifigs. I might be wrong about the price, but that is what I guess the hugely inflated Disney SW price tag might be.
Btw. it looks a lot smaller than #75053 (although that set only came with four minifigs, and then you still had to buy #75048 which included two figs, but no Sabine to complete the team). Ooh, and those two sets, together really make for a nicely done representation of the ship this little rebel team do most of their adventuring and travelling with, and is both a wonderfully designed Lego SW ship, as well as play-set.
I think this set (#75158) with an immensely scaled down version of a (mid-size) capital ship that dwarves the Phantom, itself a ship of roughly the same size in the cartoon series as the Millennium Falcon, could have been designed a bit bigger. Also I wonder how many play functions it has, and how many minifigs it can hold. And if the interior is designed a bit decent? After all it is a play-set for kids. I may be an adult, who does not plays with his Lego sets like kids do, but I do look at it with the eyes of my inner-child, thinking what I would be wishing for if I still was a little kid actually (role) playing with Lego as I once did back in elementary school.
With respect to the minifigs, It would have made more sense to include a pilot instead of Agent Kallus. After all this Admiral needs a crew to command, doesn't he?! Some more generic rebel crew members / pilots / navigators / soldiers would have been very welcome. There are only two new minifigs in this set. Yes all kids definitely want to have Ezra and Chopper, but would it really hurt TLG and/or Disney to put at least eight instead of just five minifigs in a set of this size and price range. Preferably the Seventh Sister among them as others also already remarked. Or no antagonists, but just more (unique) rebel minifigs.
ps.
Is this supposed to be the Admiral's Flagship that got destroyed in the beginning of the second season?!? Because it definitely does not look like a 'regular' blockade runner to me.
- It feels like Chopper, Ezra and Kallus are spare figures from other sets - only there to fill in.
- I haven't seen the show episode, but I would prefer crew members over the re-picked figures.
- Last, I won't even consider to get the set since Ahsoka doesn't have transparent white blades. I don't really care if they haven't made them before or anything...
#TheHateIsReal- It feels like Chopper, Ezra and Kallus are spare figures from other sets - only there to fill in"
This are there just as fill ins and there should be other figures included instead of these. So many options from either of the two season, Ezra's parents, the Inquisitor as Temple guard, Anakin from Ahsoka's flashbacks in the last couple of episodes etc.Hopeful but not expecting TLG to do Rebels right for 2016-17 with all the Movie stuff still to do.
