    1. That is the Red Skull figure from #76017 Avengers: Captain America vs. Hydra, correct? Why are his gloves brown instead of black?

    2. Those are the Ultron Sentries from #76029 Iron Man vs. Ultron, why is the print all the same color grey on their legs? Mine have two distinct colors of grey (the lighter color is more silver).

    3. That is the Wonder Woman from #76026 Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas, why is the torso print gold/copper color where it should be bright silver? I thought at first it was just due to the lighting but there really seems to be a color difference between the silver leg print color and the silver torso print color.

    4. That is the Nova Corps Officer from #76019 Starblaster Showdown, I can barely see any yellow on the helmet. Mine has very prominent yellow striping.

    5. What set is that Legolas from? With the ones I have seen the shininess of the printing on the torso is closer to the color of the arms. And I can't really make out any freckles on the Bain figure either.

I'm looking at these images on a 1080p monitor. Zooming in on your image. Can you please provide better images?

Some used sets I recently bought are missing figs. You have some of the replacements, and I want to make sure they are authentic. The post above has me worried.

If they're real, there should be any problem, right?
  • MatthismcflyMatthismcfly Member Posts: 52
Al right, what do you want fir the pics ?

I meant top down- as in looking directly down at the top of the fig's heads.

    @SprinkleOtter I agree with you.

@Matthismcfly I don't want to pass as rude, but I think you should be a bit more polite with your potential clients. Just sayin'.

    He just wanted to verify.

And he did. But my opinion is that it was too much, he asked for more pictures, I sent more pictures, he asked for the heads, I lost 5 minutes, I took the heads, and made a great picture in full HD, but anyway, people find funny to ask more and more and to act like big lords.

But you need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your f-word fingers and say, that's the bad guy.

I think that posting the other pictures was a good decision on your part, and I think, after verifying the studs on the heads, that he would have purchased your minifigs if you didn't comment : "Yes, my lord." I think that made him upset.

But let's stop arguing and continue browsing the forum in a happy state of mind, shall we? ;)

Not with that attitude. If you behave like that before a sale, how are buyers supposed to think you are going to behave if something happens in transit, or if something goes wrong?

I asked for one simple set of pictures- fakes are rampant these days, and you don't have any feedback, so I wanted verification. You then sent me an unasked for set of pictures, so I again asked for the requested images.

I will, I watched every single episode of Pawn Stars, I know how to sell, I know the rules. And I do know that you sell with that trust you, not with the ones that ask too much.

I can see the motive for concern here but in his very first photo I could tell that these figures were real. The mat finish on the arms/legs, the certain shine on parts, the print finish, The verticle sort of 'grain' on the torsos (which I swear is why those damn things crack), all of it is so obvious that they are all real.

@Matthismcfly Very nice Citizen Brick collection, if any of it is ever up for sale, please post, especially that Gus Fring!!!! I want Gustavo! (And maybe Mike, hee hee). Good luck on your sales, I suggest not giving in to the "good ol' boys club" that this place can be.

P.S. Please don't take advice from reality TV, just for society's sake. ;)

@bobabricks Whilst you maybe able to confirm their authenticity from a picture, I couldn't and it's apparent that neither could others. If I was buying minifigs from anyone other than trusted members-especially SH-I'd ask for the same pictures and not expect the seller to get arsey about it all.
@Matthismcfly You'll struggle on here with your approach to selling. People parting with their money are more than entitled to question authenticity and ask for pictures. There are too many fakes floating about to not be worried.

Even if you ask for pictures, even if you ask for a videao, you'll never know what will come in the mail, I have a huge collection of minifig, I could simply take the good pictures and then send some fake minifigs, you never can tell. And this is where the internet's rules come in place,

Your power means nothing here, this is the Internet.

Just why? Almost all your comments have been in relation  to stuff your selling.  Look at the different  forums (There literally is one for everything!), enter @bendybadger weekly draw and get involved.  Joining a lego forum should be your introduction  to a community  of like minded people. And like all communities people can be skeptical  of newbies. As you get more involved more people  will deal with you. It can be hard to sell at the start as people  often ask for previous feedback. Sometimes it will take a while  to make a sale maybe because your new maybe  because people don't need your stuff.
Brickset is a community. I'm happy  to welcome you to it and hope you sell your  minifigures.  I'd probably  buy some but shipping to Ireland is probably  cost prohibitive.

See here on Brickset most of us are decent, honorable, and trustworthy members who don't look to scam or be mean simple because it's the internet and we can get away with it. We try to deliver as best as we can and be nice and amiable.  So while you could rip someone off, doing so will have you permanently shunned by this mostly kind community, mostly... few exceptions.
