My Minotaur arrived! :D I think he was the moment I started to really feel I was missing out by not collecting CMFs; I caved a couple of series later but with the way prices went up I never thought I would get him! Next target: Medusa...

And I just got an email from Tesco Direct to say my toaster and 31045 Ocean Explorer are waiting for me!

I'm sat in hospital tonight waiting to have my babies tomorrow all being well :) I forgot to pack my polybag :( really could do with it now. I'm getting a visitor soon and she asked if I needed anything but I don't think it would be the best thing to ask for, she would probably be more thinking about a magazine or chocolate or something.
you could get her to pick up the uk lego magazine's.
there a good read and the little build will help kill time and it better then no lego.

Thanks everyone :) it was a quick visit and she brought me a little colouring book and pencils, she did say that she looked for a lego colouring book but didn't see one. I think I'll ask my husband to bring the little bag I was going to bring incase we have another slow day.

    Yes good luck @legonut80!

You have plenty of time to rearrange the shelves so the LEGO is out of reach by the time they're crawling around ;)

Best of luck @legonut80 !! Hoping a speedy, uneventful labour for you!!
I think instead of presents for the baby, the mum should get the gifts - I mean you're the one doing all the hard work!  And because you're having 2 you should get twice as much!

I think @legonut80 deserves a brick-built medal for services to Lego! I mean, bringing six future AFOLs into the world is pretty impressive work!

Currently in the UK visiting the parents. Oh, and to finally pick up the huge stash of (mostly bargainous) Lego that has been accumulating in their spare bedroom over the past 12 months :-)

    Good luck, @legonut80! :)

I had the dream last night. You guys all know about the dream, right? You're in a place that has remarkably cheap or free Lego, and it's sets that either don't exist in real life, or exist and are vanishingly unlikely to just turn up anywhere... I was getting a rare wind turbine set, damn it!

^^I usually am about to buy enormous classic era Forestmen and Castle sets that my sub-conscience has dreamed up (which are better than the ones I try to moc while awake) and then I wake up disappointed.

Never had a dream about cheap or free lego, but I have had a strange dream about a guy from Lego showing up to talk to me, named Morgan or Morden or something like that, it's kind of hazy. He starts out asking me about what models I like more, I like less, etc, then starts asking me about my Lego Ideas projects, other designs I've made, etc. Would love to read more into it, but according to someone in the know, there's no Lego reps in Australia by the name of Morgan or anything similar, so I don't think I'll be getting that knock on the door any time soon...

Built my new #31045, which turns out to be quite charming. I'd been wondering how they did the hull; turns out to be modular, using those little 1x1s with a stud on the side (the sort people are keen to get in sand green in that weird Statue of Liberty promo set) to connect the bow to the rest of the ship. And the little submarine is so cute!

    built #60113 and #70335 today.
#60113 is a good little build, only payed £6 for it. (but sod's law has come a calling and now amazon have it for £5. o well.)
and #70335 (picked at random.) it's a cool bad guy (girl), and i hope the other Ultimate set's are as good.

@chrisalddin I personally liked her character the best of those that they have created so far.  At least from the bad guy side.

Last night I was working on the last book for the Parisian Restaurant and I was sorting the bags. I started building and it looked like I was missing a 1x2 profile brick, no worries I have extras. I go on to the next step and now I'm missing a 1x2 black slope brick. Ok, I must have missed a bag. So I look around and didnt see it so then I check under the bed and sure enough those darn ferrets had dragged it under there :P

Congratulations @legonut80!!! Enjoy your time with the newborns. It flies by, as you know.

If you can afford it, pick out an expensive and exclusive set for each of them as a baby gift. Stash it away for 10 years and see what happens :)

My 2 yr old nephew, who's Dad is a Star Wars fan, has a nice sealed R2-D2 10225 to enjoy one day.
