I grabbed the Maze & Mr Freeze late last night.

Let's just hope the maze doesn't have any floors that require an update from Lego (like Wall-e did) which is a great pain for early buyers.

Just got back from the Lego store, picked up a couple large cups of PaB and 4 road plate packs. Two with the curve and two with the intersection. The nice thing was they were marked on the shelf as $11.98 each. However, they range up as the normal price of $14.99. Luckily the manager matched the shelf price (after taking the $11.98 price tags off). All of that was enough to get the free Mr. Freeze.

I just recently came back to the hobby after a nearly 15-year hiatus.  I'm looking for old sets I wanted in my childhood but never acquired, with a heavy emphasis on 90's space sets.  I recently picked up #6957, #6898, and #6975 in that vein.  Also picked up #6285 because I always wanted a giant pirate ship as a kid.  I'll probably work on finishing up Ice Planet in the future, as that is my favorite sub-theme Lego ever did.

#6975 is an awesome model. the best saucer UFO lego have ever made.

I wanted this one so much. UFO was my favourite space theme (actually not sure if they have done better yet (yeah yeah, I know they never did better than classic space... wasn't born at the time)) and UFO minifigs looked so good at the time (to be fair, if you except the lack of back printing, they still have a lot of details compared to modern figs)

    agree, it's a fab theme.

Broke down and ordered the new (old) Batcave. My son hasn't stopped looking at pictures of it since it was announced and I had some birthday gift cards burning a hole in my pocket, so it and Mr. Freeze are on the way. As expected, I'm already eyeing it to see how I could incorporate a second one in to make it bigger (my No. 2 LEGO obsession, after Iron Man minifigures, is doubling sets).

And today, the oldest and I are headed to the flea market to go hunting.

And tomorrow, we're going to Legoland.

My wallet is cowering in fear.

Yesterday I went to the LEGO store and bought #76051 Super Hero Airport Battle.

I do not collect the Super Heroes series, but buy the occasional set here and there; though I am picking up the Mighty Micros sets. In this case I needed Giant-Man and the Ant-Man nanofigure to accompany my regular-sized Ant-Man minifigure from #76039 Ant-Man Final Battle :)

And of course, got Mr. Freeze for my #76052 classic batcave. Now I need to get my hands on #8684-16 Pharaoh from CMF Series 2 to make a King Tut!

Despite them being £1 over the MSRP each, I caved in for three Mighty Micros sets today in WH Smiths.  As they have them on "buy one, get one half price" and I also had a £5 off when spending £20 I got three for £19.97, which I thought was reasonable.

    it's a good display set.
it is not a good kid's toy, when ever i move it. and i end up moving it alot.
    i knock a part off.
    every! dam! time!
and it's never the same part.
think i going to have to store it soon. for fear of losing a part.
grate set, i give it that. grate to look at. maybe in a glass box.

but it is a super fun build.

Well, it is for me, rather than my daughters, so I'm fine with that! It certainly looks like there's a huge amount of detail in the set, which I am looking forward to.
When I first saw it fully built in a LEGO Store, I was amazed at how large it is as well.

that's one of the other point's to storing it. takes up more space then #10218 pet shop do.
then again i have had it on display for 3 months now.
i have so little display room i have to rotate what i have on display.
i also have not got round to putting my room back after the water heating system died. and had to be replaced. (the hot water tanks cupboard is in my room.)

hope you enjoy the build. i know i did.

My brother just completed building his 4th set this week (UCS TIE Interceptor, UCS Snowspeeder, UCS AT-ST and Motorized AT-AT). He will be breaking down and then building my UCS Falcon as soon as his fingers recover :)

So, I just ordered the UCS Slave 1 to keep my building ammo stocked for him, although I think the Falcon will keep him busy for a few weeks. Not interested in the Mr. Freeze promotional giveaway so at least I can get a little money back for that when I sell it.

I needed a new toaster from Tesco Direct, and it wasn't going to hit the threshold for free delivery, so obviously I had to add some Lego to the order. After considerable poring over the options, I picked #31045; it's a nice little ship and I'm interested in how the hull is constructed. Apparently it's coming on Tuesday...

from amazon i just pull the trigger on

Lego Dimensions: Fun Pack DC Superman
    for £11.52

LEGO Dimensions, Doctor Who, Cyberman and Dalek Fun Pack
for £10.82 (added to basket about 1 minute before it price jump back up to £11.63.)

Lego Dimensions: Fun Pack DC Aquaman
    for £11.99

did not wish to pay this high for Aquama. but with the 3 for 2 offer ending in 4 hours and 30 minutes and the price jump on the Cyberman set, i took the jump.
but i did use the £7 Promo Code i got the other day, so the price was not as bad.

left to get is the Doc Brown Fun pack, 2 teem pack's and 1 level pack, as well as the 3 fun pack's in wave 5.

the Doc Brown set will be got when i Buy any other Item on Amazon. there is a Replacement Laptop Battery for the laptop i use that i been eyeing up,
as most of the time my laptop's are running of Main power. the Battery's in them tend to lose the power to keep a charge. or a will buy some other lego set. dont know yet.

Just got back from the LEGO store and TRU.

At the LEGO store I got two #21023 Flatiron Building on sale ($31.98 ea); one for my Dad (he enjoyed #21006 The White House I got for his birthday ealier this year - his first LEGO set ever) and one for me (my first Architecture set). And a big PaB cup to get the #30603 Mr. Freeze freebie.

At TRU I bought #75874 Chevrolet Camaro Drag Race and #30446 Batmobile polybag, they had a few of the latter in stock again and I wanted a second one; all to get #30371 Knight's Cycle freebie. I am not into the Speed Champions theme, but since my car is a Camaro I could not resist :)

After shopping in various Lego Stores around the UK over Easter, my son has finally run out of sub £10 sets to ask for. Scarily, he is now looking at sets over £30 - as the one's in between are either set aside for his birthday, or are mine.

Nearly bought the Maze yesterday, but I'm still waiting for the secret Civil War set yet to come out.

    So we have recently got:

    #60106 Fire Starter Set

#76061 Mighty Micros: Batman™ vs. Catwoman

    #76062 Mighty Micros: Robin™ vs. Bane™

#76063 Mighty Micros: The Flash™ vs. Captain Cold

#76064 Mighty Micros: Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin

#76065 Mighty Micros: Captain America vs. Red Skull

    #60113 Rally Car

    #75908 458 Italia GT2

    #76036 Carnage’s SHIELD Sky Attack

    #76044 Clash of the Heroes

    #70331 Ultimate Macy

    #70330 Ultimate Clay

    #71302 Akida Creature of Water

    And I bought:

    #850705 Salt and Pepper Set

#76067, if the rumours are true, Baron Zemo will be in this set, he has been claimed to be the big bad for Civil War, but I suspect there may be another character or two in this set Marvel don't want spoilers for.

^ If they put Strucker in an AoU set, it would make sense that the as-of-yet-to-be revealed Baron Zemo would be in that set.

Maybe we get another Martin Freeman minifig?

Step 3 on the slipperly Modular slope for me.  I already have the Fire Brigade and Brick Bank, and added the Palace Cinema to my collection yesterday.

And after the review @drdavewatford, it won't be long before I pick up Parisian Restaurant.
