I'm going to take a wild guess and say that the set is designed and ready for production however it also includes a Spider-Man (Tom Holland) Minifigure and LEGO have yet to receive the designs of the costume until after the release of the movie or whenever Marvel release Holland in costume to the public. Apparently no merchandising company has received any glimpse at any concept art or the final Spidey suit.

I'm also guessing Vision, Baron Zemo and Hawkeye will be included given the lack of presence in the other three 'Civil War' sets. I think it could be an expansion for the #76051 - Super Hero Airport Battle set.

New trailer coming out tomorrow and i believe it will have spidey so the set may be revealed soon

can anyone tell me if the ironman minifigure in the Lego juniors set 10721 is exactly the same as the ironman in the quinjet set 6869.

Yes. I think.

10271 has this:

That's what I thought and just wanted to check. I missed out on 6869 and had to buy the jet after it retired - this seems like a cheaper way to get this minifig of ironman, who only appeared in that one set.

The Juniors set of Iron Man and Loki is the same exact Minifig if I'm correct

I bought one on flea-bay. Paid £5 which ,in comparison to the prices for ironman 6869, didn't seem too bad.

Looks like the initial reaction to Civil War is very positive, with praise especially for Tom Holland's Spiderman and Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther. Surely the mysterious fourth Civil War set has to include Spidey??
Really can't wait to see the movie at the end of April!

My first IMAX experience will be for Captain America: Civil War (2016) at the BFI IMAX opening day. The early positive reactions makes me thrilled that it will live up to the hype and be an experience to remember.

So many MCU news snippets around at the moment!
Really loved the Dr Strange trailer and pleased to hear the Spiderman solo film could feature several other MCU characters, though I think the Homecoming logo looks a bit kiddy.

Now I don't think my next comment is really spoilery but just in case you don't want to hear anything about Civil War consider this a warning...

Just read a couple of reviews of Civil War (even more impatient to see it now!) and liked this line in the Total Film one: "it’s a shame that the trailers (and LEGO) gave away quite so many of the film's surprises"

Poor Lego can't win! Either they are inaccurate in terms of designs or give away spoilers :-)

^ I know, right? Loving the teaser for Dr Strange - wonder if the set will have any of the reality warping seen in the trailer? That would be awesome.

I also agree that the title for the new Spidey film looks a little too simple. Can't wait to see what the film is like though.

I don't mind the Lego spoiler for Civil War (the giant Thomas The Tank Engine and other things in the first Ant-man movie nudged things that way already), although if the trailers are like those for BvS:DoJ (you know what I mean if you've seen it) I'd be a little upset. Although I know it can't be THAT bad as it hasn't mentioned at least one thing I know is in the film.

Sometimes I wish I didn't follow Superhero trailers and film sites as avidly as I do. :-(

Frankly, Batfleck was the least objectionable part of the movie. He does know how to direct a compelling film.

I like bleak movies as much as the next guy, but these are friggin' shinny action comic book movies. I think Snyder mourns his films instead of enjoying him. The Watchmen is just a depressing take on a depressing comic book.

And I know that all of the 'science' in comic book films is nonsense, but how is it even plausible in made-up-science land, that you could engineer Doomsday (er... Abomination) with some human/krypton potpourri. And have it be a killing machine instead of a puddle of goo, a really dangerous housecat, or a mild mannered British banker?

Ugh. I'm monologuing. I should probably go back and design logos for secret superhumans that I have been stalking.

What are your thoughts on the Iron skull Sub #76048 . I've not seen much analysis of that , or perhaps I just missed it . For me it was actually a day 1 purchase simply because of the outstanding Iron Man Scuba fig (and I'm not even a minifig completionist) The best I've seen in minifig yet . Everything else was a bonus .

That aspect of the movie made me audibly and visibly wince. If I wasn't the only person in the theatre I would've expected someone to ask if I'd stubbed my toe on something.

I'm unwillingly tempted by it! Up to now I've avoided the superhero sets because they're just so expensive for what you get, and (as many have said) the vehicles/setups often don't have much character or relationship to the movies because they have to be designed far ahead based on fairly scant details. But the sub actually looks really cool, and since I don't have any of the figures, that Cap/IM/Red Skull combination is attractive. It's a lot like the set with Green Lantern, Sinestro and Space Batman in that regard, and I'm hoping I can pick up both at a hefty discount at some point...

I bought it this week. It was worth it just for the ironman figure which has got to be one of my all time favourite figures. Whilst the submarine itself isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, I really enjoyed building it. I'd recommend this set, even at full price. If you find one on sale then buy it!

So far those are the ones that interest me as, for example, The Kryptonite Interception can be worked into a story of Lex Corp and the Empire stockpiling Kryptonite to control/battle Superman easier with Thanos. The other reason is that cash is tight and I am saving for College.

Also, I sadly bough last year Quinjet and I am only missing: Black Panther, Wolverine, Falcon, Agent 13, Ghost Rider from my Avenger team.

I know I'm last to the discussion. I'm both thrilled that there will be a Scarlet Spider Minifigure and bummed at the same time that my wallet is going to have to take a $100 hit to land it. I guess I could wait for the resellers to sell them off individually, but the whole set seems pretty cool so I'll probably take the plunge.

Ok, so I have Vision and all the others from a previous wave, except for Spiderman. I don't need a petrol tanker. Is this set really worth it for an MCU version of Spiderman? Gonna say no. But it's not a bad set, and the scene in question is very funny.

I don't get this set at all.

Although, I suppose next to the airport set and the Black Panther set, they are similarly themed.

And the fuel tanker looks nothing like the one in the movie. Roxxon is a nice touch.

This set is a little disappointing, and I was hoping for Zemo also, though based on his appearance in the movie, it wouldn't be a particularly interesting minifig anyway. I'm loving the new Spider-man and Hawkeye minifigs! I might try to mod the Roxxon tanker into better looking vehicle for a City display.

I don't believe he did. I think the motorcycle has become the new helicopter. Did Black Widow or Bucky ride one in this movie? At least we have a purple motorcycle now.
