All* sets are currently built, but I do have boxes and instructions for everything.

    Todd

*Except Hogwarts Castle -- that one is still sealed with some shelfware.

Anyone here with experience shipping to Brazil?  A long time ago, we stopped sending packages to a family friend down in Sao Paolo because the packages would disappear in transit, but I'm hoping that their postal system has improved since then.  Just trying to determine if I should accommodate a request from an interested buyer down there....
It is still a hit and miss with with First Class International Mail.  Dont know if success is better with Global Priority or not.  I no longer will ship anything to South America.  What did you end up doing on this?
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
I took the chance and shipped it out. USPS and Brazil Post got their wires crossed, so USPS was saying it was being returned to sender while Brazil Post was saying "waiting for withdrawal". Buyer picked it up from his local post office, so all ended well.

Just uncovered two books that I had forgotten about, both by Warren Elsmore:

    Brick City (MSRP $19.99)
    Brick Wonders (MSRP $19.99)

I'm not asking MSRP, feel free to make an offer.

  • Gooker1Gooker1 Member Posts: 599
out of curiosity, how much were the minibuilds?

  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
So... the first six months of the sell-off has far exceeded my wildest expectations.  I started out with roughly 650 sets to sell, and I'm now down to right around 200.  A huge thanks to all of my buyers out there, and I'm really happy that so many of my sets ended up in the hands of some fantastic collectors.

Perhaps the best news of all for me?  Not a single set was ever sold (or even posted) on eBay!  I guess I just figured that Craigslist was the closest to the ninth circle of hell that I wanted to get :)

The sell-off will continue until everything is gone.  I keep eyeballing my collection and trying to guess what the very last set I'll end up with.  Right now my bet is on 2000414 - Serious Play Starter Kit.  Not sure what possessed me to pick that one up in the first place....

Also just added my Imperial Flagship (10210) back into the list -- my buyer backed out.

For my Liberty + Custom Base, I will accept offers on just the base (although I won't sell Liberty by itself unless the base has already been sold).  Send me a PM if you are interested.  I do plan to ship it already assembled, and it weighs over 20 pounds.

Thanks, but I can't take any of the credit for it -- Cameron Bethel designed the base, and he's done other amazing work, too.  I think that it is, by far, the best custom base for Liberty out there.

Just lowered my asking price for my Breaking Bad sets: $450 plus free domestic shipping.  Comes with everything shown in the picture (including the red technic beams that I added to hold the hinged set together for display).

  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
Also, note that I intend to ship this set assembled unless the buyer requests otherwise.
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403

Would like lots of your sets but have just had a quote for shipping just one set and sadly it's totally prohibitive
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
Yeah, sadly the last round of rate increases by USPS has made international shipping quite the expensive proposition.
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
Also, only one CMF series left:

    Series 12 - $80

A lot of your sets I would snap at if I wasnt currently a college student :) if theyre still around in a month or two... just maybe! ;)
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
@terfsten -- unless I find that one angel buyer who wants to buy up everything I have left, I'm pretty certain I'll still have plenty of sets in a month or two.  Be sure to check back!

I wish I could afford some of the items, and definitely the Liberty with base.  I even live right near you(in Mt. Washington) and I've salivated over your Craigslist posts.  I hate being poor....
  • legomentallegomental Member Posts: 370
I'd buy half your collection if only I wasn't the wrong side of the pond. The postage is just horrific now
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
@legomental -- International shipping can be shockingly expensive, but I have honestly never looked at alternatives to USPS.  Anyone here every use a shipping service like Seven Seas Worldwide or some other shipping company?

  • legomentallegomental Member Posts: 370
No idea. I had a quote from UPS and it was $70 for a set worth $50. I'll just have to have a holiday and tour round buying up lego I think!

I'm in a n even more annoying situation. I'm actually going to America next week, but the closest I get to you is bowling green. Three hours, or the entire Atlantic, it makes little difference. Lol

Bowling Green? What's your business there? That's near me.
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
@kizkiz -- If you wanted some of my sets, I would consider driving up to Bowling Green for a lot cheaper than shipping to the UK.  If you were renting a car, or had a car available, I could definitely meet you half way.  Send me a PM if you are interested and maybe we can work something out.
  • ToddMyersToddMyers Member Posts: 403
Bowling Green, Ohio or Bowling Green, KY?  Both are three hours away from me....

KY. Am only heading up to go to the corvette museum from Nashville when passing through. Am on my honeymoon, driving around the south. Not sure the wife would appreciate a large detour to buy Lego!
