As for the Big Ben thing, as far as I'm aware that's all but confirmed, with the listing for #10253 on brickset.
Haha, close! I think it's considerably a re-release. ;)
Maybe a modular Bed & Breakfast!
#10252 B... B...
#10253 Big Ben
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Woo-hoo!
The Ferris Wheel , I felt was one of the recent greats. I see no reason why they will not follow it with a great Carousel. The ability is there clearly and so is the fact that TLG is getting bolder in the recent 2 years about making really high piece count( even if they are getting a bit smaller, the pieces ) sets.
I see them very capable of dishing out a "Better" designed ,more stable Carrousel in the count range of 2800 with lights or music brick and chucking it in the USD $280 Bat cave bracket.
Also any moderately good Carousel is better than none just like the Falcons. Win win ?
Whatever it may be though , one thing is certain , the words uttered by one employee are gaining steam here :)
We've been pre-emotive speculating about the 2017 modular for months already...
A carousel with helicopters, cars, and motorcycles. A lighthouse ticket booth, and a hot dog/sausage cart.
I just saw the trailer for the new movie "Sausage Party" ...funny :)
Agreed - it looked to be 12 studs to the centre line from the start of the 'cutout', and the cutout itself is an 8 stud by 8 stud triangle. It's also built on plates rather than an actual base plate...

It is plates adjacent to one another in this case though. Not a true baseplate. Would've been cool though.
