So many don't have hair so that's probably a bit hopeful even for the rest.
Several of the current TV superhero shows have gone for this more cartoon face, teen titans springs to mind, so I can see these doing well with the target audience. I know we will have several in our house and I have no shame in saying some of them will be for me!
I can't help but feel that LEGO missed an opportunity. While I do enjoy the little sets, as different as they are compared to other super hero sets, I feel as something more substantial could have been done.

(BTW, that's not us.)
bricklink for parts:
spidey minifig head
bane minifig
Probably already said it earlier in the thread but we will be getting a full set for our house for sure.
i very much agree with comments previously made about audience: older kids won't want them, adult collectors probably won't be interested. At full price, they aren't cheap and not exactly the advertised 'pocket money' price.
but there's something about them!
Has any one else given them a go?
with all the figures, although they are simple, there's something 'special' about each one.
i like Spider-Man's expression and, when comparing him to the 10 normal Spider-Man figures I have, it made me question why Lego didn't ever change Spidey's head in all these years! His head looks great on a full size body.
i like them. Most people don't. But I do!
