As you seem to have obtained most of the 1st wave of the Nexo Knights theme I was wondering if you could tell me, in #70313 Are the huge fists on Moltor instead of standard minifig hands or do they attach to the normal hands via a clip of some kind?
Just wondering as I really like the printing on the figure but hate the big hands.

the big hands are like any minifig accessory. them clip on to the normal minifig hands.
so you can pick to just not put them on the minifig.
this is good as the big hands can not hold anything. there just there for show.

These are not a new part, they are used in loads of chima sets and for Karlof, a Ninjago character in Dojo Showdown.  Part number is 11092.

I've just caved in and decided that I'd like a few select LotR sets, so picked up a BNIB #9472 from eBay at a very good price. :-)
I'm not going to go mad on this theme, just get a very few select sets. They'll go nicely with my #79003.

Hehe, I know, I know, but the model spans both books, so fits my "Middle Earth" theme nicely...
No, I'm definitely not going to start going mad on LotR / TH... Just a few select items... Having said that, Orthanc does look impressive... ;-)

    yes Orthanc does look good,
even i have looked at it.
and i have decided when i 1st got Back in to lego. No Hobbit or L.O.T.R. sets. as there going to take a arm and a lag and dam hard to find. (i don't trust e-bay.) that's not to say there are not good seller's on there. it's just i have Crap luck.
so i would have to import Orthanc from a USA shop, who will sell to the uk. as that the only retell shop i found it in. that if i was to try and get it. right now with all that i have planned to buy that is still sold by lego. importing is the last thing i am going to do.
that all said if Orthanc was still on Shop@home. it be on my buy list. if i would not have got it already. (areeee the "what If" game!) :)
anyhow past set's are on the past. i try to live in the now. (note the "try".) :p

^My comment was definitely tongue-in-cheek. Much as I'd like a Tower of Orthanc, I'm just not going there... ;-)

I just got Lance's Mecha Horse! I had a £5 Argos voucher left over from their last "get £5 when you spent £50" offer, and it had to be spent by tomorrow. Well, it's helped me to justify breaking into the Nexo Knights theme, which I've been admiring from afar... :D
the Mecha Horse! is nice. not the best of the theme i will admit. but please do tell me what you think of it. i am happy with it. but i think my self i found the other £17.99 set #70313 is better. but that is my point of view. i am interested to hear yours.
Well, this turned out to be an absolutely terrific build, and I would've pronounced it great value for money even if I'd paid the full price. It's standing on the arm of my chair as we speak because I've turned into a little kid who's all, "Look! Look at my cool new toy!"

I knew there were Technic elements, but hadn't expected so much Technic, or for the Technic and regular Lego pieces to be so well integrated. This is actually the sort of thing I used to wish for back in the day when I wondered why you didn't see more use of Technic in Lego models, so it's wonderful to see it actually happening. It made for a varied and different building experience, which is all to the good.

Also, I finally know how my partner felt back when I first showed him my Technic collection, which is heavy on the pocket money-priced models from 1998 that use a lot of the newer (to him, a man whose Technic mostly dates from the theme's first decade, and who considers most Lego elements produced after the mid-80s heretical) studless elements.

I couldn't believe how many new types of Lego piece were in this set (context: the bulk of my collection dates from 2000 and earlier), and after the initial surprise, I was impressed by how useful many of them were. My definition of a good new functional element is "this feels like something we should've had years ago", i.e. elements that are so practical and widen building possibilities so obviously that after you play with them a bit, they seem like they've always been around. I'd agree with you that this would be a good set to buy in bulk for parts if it's discounted heavily.

The best part was being able to transform the set - I'd thought it would need rebuilding so I'm really impressed and think it bodes well for the theme and for Lego in general. I already planned to get more Nexo Knights but this one is so appealing that I'm reconsidering my priorities for 2016; I'd sacrifice some other things to get the NK sets I most fancy to make a nice display of them...

it's the only set to transform at this point, but i hope to see more that transform in years to come. i love the theme, the themes colors are fab. and The fortrex is just awesome! with it opened up it look like any old half castle play set. but when it closed it feel changes to a moving Fortrex, :) ok so the track stick out a bit in the open config but still look cool. i have Jestro's evil Mobile facing off against the Fortrex on my table and it just look so good.
i hope this theme gets the love it deserves. it had been well made and has a cool tv show to go with it.

Inventoried my white 2x3 bricks. Separated damaged, old logo and regular. Stacked by 10's. Short a few dozen, but that would be margin of error on several hundred.

Yeah, some BL users can be slow to communicate even if not doing anything else wrong. Are they a newbie, a big seller who's busy, or something else, you think?

They've great feedback so I dunno....I mean they're not a business as such (like Lego or Argos) so I wouldn't get snippy with them but I'm just anxious to get started on my building!!

Actually found something wandering around Walgreens. #41047 for $2.64, half off $5.29. (Brickset has no US list price) Pleasantly surprised it rang up under $3. Will build as is and put with other zoo animals.

#3932 used on BL - another older Friends set that goes with Pop Star
Tempted to get some unrelated sets, but thought better of it
Getting some parts for soccer minifigures so my teams each look the same.
Put 'em in my my cart and contacted the seller asking for S&H

#3942 has a drum set and music stand but I don't want the other stuff. (like how #41120 has things besides an archery range)

Quoting myself because since then I've both received the BL invoice AND the parts.  So yeah for that (especially as they were coming from another country)

Today's moan. Why do so many sellers online call everything & anything resembling a brick Lego?  And when you question them you're told 'ah well they're the same thing'. Eh no they're not. /end of moan

true, however i am not one of them,

this reminds me of Christmas just past.
note that non of my family members are easy to buy for so we normally give hint's or ask outright for what we wish for Christmas.
me to my Niece "for Christmas i wish for Lego, any set will do, if it is a theme i don't like it well be used for parts." (this was 6 weeks before Christmas.) (to me this was a simple request that i could not see how anyone could fuff up.)
    fast forward to Boxing-day.
i get Christmas gift, (it's a bag full of Non Lego building bricks with maybe 20% Lego from the 70's in very bad shape.) (if i had to take a guess it was a bag of rejected stuff from a AFOL who buys balk Lego lot's on e-bay.)
also note that when i get a gift and i don't like it. it will show on my face. there is no way for me to hide when i get a gift that i don't like. this was one said gift.
she spotted that i did not like it and said she would get me another gift.
(on a side note the last years Christmas gift was a box of cakes, with a date of November, in other word them was already out of date.)
last week she got round to giving me my Christmas gift  #75107 Jango Fett.

before anyone asks she could have got me any set, even a Mixels set would have made me happy. ware she got this bag of (the only word for it is.) "crap" from i have no idea. was it gumtree?, a charity shop?, e-bay?, some other free-ad webpage giveaway? who knows. all i know is it would not have made anyone happy, my best guess she never looked at what was inside the bag.

there is a lesson to be learned from this. what quite that lesson is i have no idea!

but the good news is that,
I have Jango Fett. to go with my Darth Vader.

Right now I am waiting for the FedEx truck to deliver the 7937 Train Station and 7938 Passenger Train I bought on eBay. 7939 Cargo Train and 3677 Red Cargo Train arriving this weekend.

Yesterday I got 75137 Carbon-Freezing Chamber and 75133 Rebel Alliance Battle Pack at the LEGO Store; just enough to get the free 30422 Kai's Mini Dragon... I am not into Ninjago, but a free set is a free set, right? :)

Eagerly waiting for the 7th to get 75827 Ghostbusters Headquarters and 76052 Classic TV Batcave... credit card will not know what hit it!

Hit the local thrift stores yesterday after being out of town for a week. Initially thought there was no LEGO to be had, then took a closer look at some bulk bags that at a glance were Megablocks, and noticed a mix of blocks - and the first Quatro blocks I had ever seen. Ended up with 16 Quatro blocks, a couple dozen Duplo blocks, a few Megablocks and a small pile of blocks I have yet to identify.

My grandson is having fun with the Quatro blocks, and I've started searching through the Duplo and LEGO blocks to see if I can find matches for the Quatro blocks so we can build MOCs in 3 scales with real LEGO blocks.

Annoyed at TRU Australia, we were supposed to be getting #5004468, but it seems they only supplied them to the New South Wales & Victoria stores, lots of peoples on Aussie FB pages & Gumtree offering a bucket load of them, asking rough what the CMF goes for.
