I think I'm going to move to the USA...
This set is very similar to #75016 which is a more accurate version, unless you need need the minifigs or don't have the set its really not worth the cost to me.
" We would first like to thank you for the review. Our designers always like to redesign our older sets to improve them for our fans and consumers. As for the minifigures we many times like to use the same minifigure for a set with minimal changes, unless it is warranted.
We will give this feedback to our designers, hearing what our fans have to say only makes us a better company.
Thank you again for your review"
If a set is too similar to something you already own or you don't like it,simply do not buy it
The reason I (and many others) are exceptionally critical of Lego, is because we love it so much.
It may just be a placeholder name to avoid spoilers
I assume it has a separate entry in the brickset database due to the addition of the neck bracket, which attached it to the light saber play function for the set. The colours do look different, but I suspect that to be a photography issue.
On this occasion it's just swap the ticks, and done! :o)
(The funny thing is people would buy it, if the price per piece was favourable) XoD
Better deal than Assault on Hoth by a landslide!
I was really struggling to see what the differences were between the models, aside from the Minifigures. I suppose if you're building an army of the droids it's a nice set, but I too feel like it's way too soon and way too similar. Granted you can only change the model so much and still be accurate to the design. But if you aren't able to redesign it all that much then perhaps it doesn't need to be released again.
And the UCS sticker should be on the side. That way some of us can mistakenly be relieved that it is not a UCS playset.
I've just watched the designer video for the UCS Hoth set & even they seem embarrassed & ashamed by it!

They're not exactly raving about it are they!
Anyone else notice this? As a general rule, unless there's a killer percent-off I prefer to buy direct for the VIP points...
Somebody in one of the Facebook groups I'm in just posted this picture. Looks like the new Anakin's Podracer may not be a rumor afterall.
Seriously Lego, who was clamouring for another P**racer?
Also of great interest are the black Stormtroopers/Deathtroopers and chrome/Phasma-like troopers shown

How do we know which sets are UCS? And why are we getting a third (fourth?) non-UCS A-Wing? Actually, I think I know the answer to that one...
For the most part though if you use the main Brickset site and search for the Ultimate Collectors Series you will get a good idea of what is generally regarded as a UCS set or not.
Is that what your auto-correct reads from 'Rebels'? Or is that a term of endearment for his AT-ST prosthetic legs? Either way - Awesome!
Rayman did this many years ago.....
