@chrisalddin, it's like they took 80% of what Lego MARVEL Superheroes great & threw it away, I think this may be my last Lego game purchase. Still no idea how to change to other characters in the hub worlds, there is no map & the lack of the S.H.I.E.L.D vehicle pads, not feeling this at all.

I just realised that one of my posts only needs one more "like" for me to have my first post with 2 lines of likes! This one, to be specific.

In other news, I've been re-sorting my LEGO room and have been moving my entire collection of LEGO jewels and studs...

I think I might need a few more PaB cups full of LEGO jewels... :o)

Really, that's a shame, hoping my copy will arrive today, although I'm unlikely to get chance to play it until next week.

Have you finished the storyline yet? generally I think with previous games they've restricted character changes until you finish the story and open freeplay for the open worlds. (Dimensions broke this trend for the obvious reason ;-) )

That's a shame about Lego Marvel Avengers. I didn't preorder because I didn't want to pay full price but now I'm regretting missing out on the Silver Centaurion minifig. I'm thinking of going to Gamestop to see if they have any minifigs leftover. They usually have some extra, don't they? If not, I'll wait till the price drops on the game.

I finished putting together the #75054 AT-AT I've been building over the last few days and have set it up with some other Hoth sets.

Last night I started the Great Lego Sort with the three 24-compartment Lunar Boxes I got from Amazon. And... well, it's like that famous old post about what it's like to sort a Lego collection, in that I've committed to a method but can already see the limits of that method closing in and foresee myself changing things a bit in the future. But for now, the priority is to get the wee tiny fiddly bits out of the massive boxes of all the other bits so I can actually see what I've got.

As per the usual Brickset advice, I decided to sort by piece type rather than colour. In determining piece size (it's so simple for bricks, but not so much for weird-shaped elements) I went with "stud footprint", which has thrown up some odd things - I didn't expect an item the size of the old style jet engines to end up in the "two-stud footprint" box, but we live in a strange universe.

That box has acquired a lot of what I think of as "spaceship parts" (some because they actually look spaceshippy, others because spaceships were the sets where I first encountered them), but then the box of mixed Lego that I chose to sort through first happened to contain mostly space sets, so it's hard to extrapolate trends about piece type frequency to my collection as a whole. All I know at this point is that I'm going to need a bigger boat more boxes.

Totally disgusted, three separate stores today, had to inform staff of thieves breaking open boxes, books, etc to make off with Lego product. One of them was stashing minifigs in a camera cover that still had the store tags...

Got a box of Lego to sort out today that I found on eBay. So far I've found a 8087-1 Tie Defenfer and 8960 Thunder Driller.

Apparently its not uncommon for people to steal display mini-figures especially those more desirable ones like Star Wars.

@tallblocktoo, they'd be disappointed grabbing those here, they glue them together, you can see the glue in places. What really got me was the fact that the one in Big W had a Gucci handbag & I believe the shoes to match, then there was the guy in the first Target store, wearing a pretty well tailored suit. The complete opposite of the Bogan couple (the guy's face tats were an 'awesome' home job) we busted in Big W Noarlunga trying to pocket parts from #60109 last week.

Certainly sickening but I suppose people figure if they can get away with it they will and the rest of us will pay for it indirectly.  After all nothing is free.

reminds me of a video I've seen where a man is walking in the streets covered with money and a "help yourself" or something sign.
most people just walk by him, but a guy who, judging by his appearance really doesn't need the money at all, decides to pick like half of the bills, with the pretext that "hey it's free, everyone else would do the same" (nope, looks like you are the first so far)
then a woman, wearing some expensive clothes as well, also picks a bunch of them, because she really needs them... for her manicure.

    right.
just got done working on my room.
i just moved some stuff around so i could use both pullout leaf's on my table.
now i am making that sound like it was just a easy 10 minute job.
it was far from being 10 minutes.
i started at 10am. and got done 15 minutes ago. at 1.20pm.

and all i wish to do right now is rest. my bed sounds like a very nice place to rest.
moving all that stuff was not a good idea.
on the other hand i have more room for displaying lego on. and now this part of my room is all nice and tidy.
hmm takes me way to long to type a post. it is now 1.45pm

I'm letting my 3 year old son play with my Jabba's Palace MOC today. It's a modified Palace sitting on top of two modified Rancor Pits. He's having fun and the Lego is being played with. I may have to do some rebuilding later but that's half the fun.

^ I brought out Ewok Village this morning for my 3-year-old. It's usually quite the process to put it back to working order once he's finished, but it's worth it to watch the stories he makes up while he's playing with it. At the moment, Captain America and Iron Man have come to help the Ewoks because "they are little and need the Avengers to rescue them." Rescue them from Indominus Rex I might add.
    Snort.
i am so happy i was not having a drink as i read that!
it would have done my laptop no good.

if you can get an image, without your son in it.
i just have to see what that looks like!

We now have Episode V of Droid Tales on at the same time as he's playing with the Palace. I've had to reassemble the B'omarr monk a few times. He's going to want me to bring in the Sail Barge next, I just know it :)

Iron man rides around in Wall.E in our house, it's got to be slower than flying but nothing beats arriving in style,  right?

The latest on the Great Lego Sort is my discovery that my box of Space Port stuff has been played with by children with sticky fingers. I can't really complain given that my mum had to store it for years and has more children visiting than I do, but aaaaaugh! Going back into the box later with the wet wipes...

Been attempting to sort out my extra Lego pieces with a couple of small tackle boxes I got from the store, then realised that I had way too few compartments. Started sorting according to type of bricks eg. 1x1 tiles, 1x1 plates, 1x1 special parts, 2x2 plates....

I think I'll need about 10 more boxes to do a proper sort. Gave up in the end and just lumped all the unsorted parts into a resealable bag.

Thanks for your kind words! I always loved the show when I was a kid and was very excited to hear Disney would relaunch a new series of Ducktales in 2017. That made me realise this would be the best time to give a Ducktales set a shot. Let's hope I get enough votes, so please; spread the word!
