A graceful Bionicle swordfighter I built this week. I haven't really come up with a story for her. She mostly just evolved out of an assortment of building techniques I'd been fiddling around with.

Maybe. But I planned to use it for a brickfilm so I could just put the Aliens in there without legs.

I recently ordered a large number of pieces as well as installed Adobe Photoshop. I gave both a shot yesterday by whipping up this build in a few hours and then using photoshop on it. Not the best, I have a lot to learn... but I'm pleased for a first try!

It was fun coming across the Grey Microfigure in the Brick Bank build after having read this discussion. I will now have to go try and figure out where it is located on the Temple. They maybe small but little discoveries like this are part of the fun of Lego at least for me.

I've been into LEGO for almost a decade but I'm only just getting into MOC building. Here is te Jedi Temple. I've already started to order parts from Bricklink. Let me know what you think! Also any critiques are welcome!

Indeed, from this post I realized the grey microfigure was present in many of the sets I owned (total of 53 of them in my sets!) and it was mainly used as building ornament.

LEGO Helm's Deep Project. Work in progress... I'm currently 10,000+ pieces in, with another 5,000-10,000 to go. I have approximately 500 more figures (400 Uruk-Hai and 100 Rohan) to add to the diorama upon its completion. I'm quickly realizing that I'll need to purchase another table if I plan to display this all in one piece ;)

I wouldn't use LDD. At least not if you want to create more complex Stuff, cause LDD doesn't has very much pieces. LeoCad or other tools that work with LDraw have much more parts.

Thanks for the advice! I'll look into those programs.
As you can see, I'm using a lot of 2x2x3 slow pieces for the walls. Are there any parts that could be a good substitute or any technique to give the walls more detail?

I got the Batman Tumbler and Batwing polybags in a promotional giveaway a while ago, but they always cluttered up and fell off the shelf that they sat on. Then I saw another polybag with a Bat-Jetski in it, complete with a Batman minifig, and thought it could be turned into a Batboat with a little work. So I bought that polybag as well, got hold of the Vampos Mixel because it was the cheapest source of black bat-wing pieces, added a few other useful bits in, and combined them with a few other pieces to make a Batman diorama :)

One of my favorite scenes in Lord of the Rings is Sam chasing after Frodo at the end of the Fellowship, despite Sam's inability to swim. I wanted to try and capture this scene with LEGO bricks. Let me know what you think!

@samiam391 I love it! A touching scene in the movie that you have captured very well. Every time I watch the scene now though, I cringe. The extended content included the information that Sean Astin stepped on something wading into the water during the shoot and badly cut his foot.

I'm still waiting for a Karate Kid MOC with the Series 15 skeleton men. And no I can't try because that requires time, effort, and skeleton men all of which I don't have.

My friend made one using the dumpster from the Kwik-E-Mart and 3 or 4 skeleton guys. I'll see if I can get pictures from him.
