you getting that new? or 2nd hand?
AND
it looks like it has lots of dust on it!
stickers not applied correctly, would not go down well with me.
Can't wait for it to arrive and get everything built together. I should have quite a good display, as I have 9 crater & runway plates to act as a base. :-)
Hopefully, I'll get some time this weekend to get it all set up, just as long as #924 arrives in time (I'm sure it will)... :-)
Ordered 1 and reordered with discover deals for 5% off this morning(cancelled last night's order).
I can only imagine the designers' discussion when the set was proposed: "So, new guy, how about for your first design, you handle the service truck?"
and here is the New car with the new cast.
a ghostbusters girls crew... this is where "equal rights" di9scussion goes out of hand!
we "good" guys just want gyals and guys on par. some emancipational men haters wanna turn around the whole thing .... so that men take the role, which woman had the last 20 000 years .... really sad !
i dont care bout sucker punch !
i know them can not use the old teem as one is dead and the other 3 are getting on in age to be running a round like them use to and would need to in a movie like this one will be.
also the Movie is in post-production right now going on what IMDb is saying.
So many people have jumped on the "it's definitely going to be crap so I'm going to hate on it without knowing a thing about it" bandwagon that it's crazy. It might turn out to be a terrible film, but I'm at least going to watch it and make my own decision. It makes sense to me that in the Ghostbusters universe that after the events of the first two films there might be other people who go into Ghostbusting, so I see no problem with an all female team of Ghostbusters.
if this is a follow on from GB 1 and 2, that's all cool.
but if this is a full reboot.
then i will just view this as a peek in to a universe that had a female teem and not male.
I WANT A GROUNDHOG DAY SET!
he is so cool in "where the buffalos roam" (its the first part of fear and loathing, bill murray got replaced with johny depp there)
And probably a clock, and maybe a sound brick that plays the first few bars of the song, that'd be cool.
:)
very very bad!
Shame on you!
and we do not speak of the 2015 Winter Village set, it will bring bad luck.
btw, on a unrelated subject.
i have no Winter Village, should i go about getting the set we do not Speak of?
Bill Murray
A groundhog
A clock
A soundbrick
I'll be honest... I'm a bit underwhelmed... ;-)
Licenced sets cost more right, so it's OK even though the price per brick is a bit high.
As long as I can sit top middle. I like having to climb over people and my legs getting in the way.
Can you imagine if people reacted this way to any other reboot? "The Star Trek reboot's Enterprise crew is young! Our childhoods are being ruined by elderly-hating radicals! It's the next stage in the war on old people!" Or "The new Star Wars movie is has British- and Guatemalan-born lead actors! J.J. Abrams must hate America!"
If the new Ghostbusters movie sucks, then that's the way the cookie crumbles, but I guarantee you it won't be because of the gender of the lead actors. And since bringing back all the original team was not an option, no harm in giving some new people a shot. Worst case scenario, it will be a bad movie and nobody will try rebooting Ghostbusters again. But the possibility of "no more reboots" is a risk that people who never wanted a reboot in the first place should be able to live with.
I want a Carousel, Eiffel Tower and Cafe Corner. And a VW Beetle for my Mom.
Unfortunately, he has another one to support his efforts that's only 4 months old right now. They will team up against me. I stand no chance.
They managed to convince me that they needed their own CMF collection. (And through a stealthy conspiracy with their grandmother, they managed to accomplish their goal.)
But - to quote my eight year-old: "We only wanted Series 10 and after, because people on eBay may try to rip us off. And we like the Bee Girl."
Me: "What set are you going to pick with your birthday money?"
Son: "This one is soooooooo cool."
(Points at Ewok Village.)
Me: "That one is a lot more money than you have, buddy."
Son: "Oh...but if you want to bring it home, it would be okay."
Me: "No, buddy, I don't wa...wait...hmm...well, I was thinking of...maybe I should...well, if I...alright, let's get it."
Manipulated by a three-year-old. To be fair, I would have eventually bought Ewok Village anyway, but at the same time I have a tiny clone that is much smarter than I am.
It was really annoying me that it was sitting there at 999. :-)
