Last weekend I built #75902 Scooby Doo Mystery Machine and #21028 New York City. This weekend I picked up #40154 Pencil Pot and built that. My office at work is a mess, so instead of bringing it there, I'm going to put it in my hobby room and keep my plastic modeling supplies in it.

@chrisalddin One of many favourites.  The single Ninjago set I own to date as I had never planned to own any but the style and size really appealed to me.  The other plus was the set of mini-figures that were included.

I'm up to bag 5 of Slave 1.  Fantastic set and so far very excited about the size of it.  My wife is less excited about how big it's going to be (which is unusual) in the end as she's not sure where we'll put it!

Yesterday morning my kids asked me to bring up all of the partially disassembled Castle and Kingdoms sets from the basement and they rebuilt the prison tower rescue. We added the Queen into the mix. I'll work on some more of the Kingdoms sets today since my kids seem interested in them all over again which is great.

this model just looks so good.
i am happy i got it. and this will be the center point to any full table display i do for Ninjago.
yes the same table you see in the image.
it is also the table i will be showing of my Modular Buildings when i get more of them.
so i well need to work out how to store this model in a box. with out unbuilding it completely.

I quite like this (it's no tumbler though) but the stud shooters on the front look a bit stupid (as usual) and the sticker looks like they put the lowest possible amount of detail into making it.  Maybe it is the new logo, but side by side with the logo on the front of the tumbler it looks awful!

Awesome Umbrella logo! I'm in a bit of Resident Evil mood too, with the release of RE Zero HD.

I salute your motivation.  At this rate and within a month or two, you're going to find yourself building your way out of the front door.
    nope.
out of my bedroom maybe. i picked up some 4.2 Litters tub's.
to brake down some of the bigger model in to when i need more room.

That's funny, it doesn't snow where I live, so if it did, I'd be out in the foot of snow playing....here, on hot sunny days we stay inside and build sets. :)

Yeah, we got hit by the tail end of that storm going through the northeast. Not nearly as bad, though.  Only problem down here is it is always raining before it turns to snow.  So the water freezes under the snow.  That's why we can't drive! Don't worry, We have an entire room full of bread and milk! ;)

Freezing rain is always a nightmare, personally I would rather have snow. Bread and milk sells out up here in the north before a storm, it's funny. :)  it's like the rush they would have if lego was having a 50% sale, but before a big storm.

My son received Benny's space ship for his birthday and build it about a week ago. Ever since he has been asking me to build him a display stand like the one that came with the UCS B-Wing. I built this for him this morning.  It hols the spaceship snugly and the best part is, the ship's wings can be extended and retracted while on the stand.
    @Picopirate
can you make a guide on how to build this stand.
posting it here on the forums or maybe on rebrickable with a link to it here would be nice.
i have this and would love to display it but not worked out a good way to do yet with out taking crazy levels of space up a stand that will work and let me put stuff around it would be cool.

Nice Reece! That's definitely convinced me to buy it before it's retired. Did it come with the base plates or was that added on?

    @chrisalddin

I put step by step photos for the stand up on flickr.  The last two photos are our of order and I cant seem to rearrange them so I put the correct order in the comments.
    A couple notes:
    • The ribbed hoses around the axles are optional.
    • I went overboard with the technic pins. You could get by with less.
    • I also used technic pins w/ friction,  standard technic pins would work but may be slightly less rigid.
    • The axles near the back could be moved up to provide a better support.  To do so, use a shorter axle with a technic pin with stop bush (http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=32054). I opted not to do this because the ribbed hoses I have would not have fit.

The undergrowth is additional and as can tell from the picture just a 5 minute job.

i have started to build #70316
not going to steam roll this build, i am going to take my time.
(you can make bet's with each other when i will finish it.)
still on bag one. and i have to say the Hover Horse is a lovely little model.
and as like a lot of the little side builds it would have made a nice little set by it self.
yet still love that it part of this set.
Sparkks as he is called is still mid build. and from what i done so far he is a good build.

my build of #70316 is still ongoing.
i am up to bag 3 now. (of a 4 bag set)
    as minifig's go.
    I Love Jestro!.
    he rock's
he just look so good. i did not know what i was going to thing of him
but as a bad guy he looks the part.
and the new book model is awesome to.
can not wait to get more of the book's.

if i had more LOTR or hobbit set (all i have is stuff from dimensions) then i would do a display of Jestro V gandalf with each side having back up.
only i dont but it would have looked so cool.
may do Jestro  V Ninjago Display when i have more bad guy nexo knights.
