looking forward to this, it look like a cool build. well all of the set look like a cool build..
i will shut up now.
no hope of sleeping, so i am going to build the next stage of #70751 .
time to start the main build :)
<innuendo fully intended!>
looks like i may finish out the set later today.
still loving it.
also it is dam cold outside.
the set look's grate, and i can not wait to see it finished.
here is #70751 in all its glory.
this model just looks so good.
i am happy i got it. and this will be the center point to any full table display i do for Ninjago.
yes the same table you see in the image.
it is also the table i will be showing of my Modular Buildings when i get more of them.
so i well need to work out how to store this model in a box. with out unbuilding it completely.
#6482 rescue helicopter with working sound and light!
BOOOOOOOOM
love me some classic town
i like it.
out of my bedroom maybe. i picked up some 4.2 Litters tub's.
to brake down some of the bigger model in to when i need more room.
can you make a guide on how to build this stand.
posting it here on the forums or maybe on rebrickable with a link to it here would be nice.
i have this and would love to display it but not worked out a good way to do yet with out taking crazy levels of space up a stand that will work and let me put stuff around it would be cool.
I put step by step photos for the stand up on flickr. The last two photos are our of order and I cant seem to rearrange them so I put the correct order in the comments.
A couple notes:
- The ribbed hoses around the axles are optional.
- I went overboard with the technic pins. You could get by with less.
- I also used technic pins w/ friction, standard technic pins would work but may be slightly less rigid.
- The axles near the back could be moved up to provide a better support. To do so, use a shorter axle with a technic pin with stop bush (http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=32054). I opted not to do this because the ribbed hoses I have would not have fit.
https://www.flickr.com/gp/[email protected]/Y70MC5not going to steam roll this build, i am going to take my time.
(you can make bet's with each other when i will finish it.)
still on bag one. and i have to say the Hover Horse is a lovely little model.
and as like a lot of the little side builds it would have made a nice little set by it self.
yet still love that it part of this set.
Sparkks as he is called is still mid build. and from what i done so far he is a good build.
i am up to bag 3 now. (of a 4 bag set)
as minifig's go.
I Love Jestro!.
he rock's
he just look so good. i did not know what i was going to thing of him
but as a bad guy he looks the part.
and the new book model is awesome to.
can not wait to get more of the book's.
if i had more LOTR or hobbit set (all i have is stuff from dimensions) then i would do a display of Jestro V gandalf with each side having back up.
only i dont but it would have looked so cool.
may do Jestro V Ninjago Display when i have more bad guy nexo knights.
well yes going to do that anyhow.
but. BUT!!!!
Jestro just look so cool. So evil and yet at the same time a complete moron!
do you know how hard that is to pull off?
but dont feel like paying plus £150 for it.
it would fit in so well with my #60097
so it was ok price for me :)
