Marvel spring & summer 2016 releases
In anticipation of the new "Captain America - Civil War", Lego will release 4 sets based on that. We have now hi-res images for box art and minifigures.
What do you think of each of them?
How do they compare to last year's releases?
Which might be the last unknown set to be published in summer?

LEGO really seem to have got the unique figs per set so much better in these than they have in the past.
Definitely want the airport set for the Ant-man/Giant man and it's great to see Black Widow in a low price point doing something that she actually does in the MCU - riding a motorbike and fighting, rather than being relegated to the pilot role.
I believe so

According to the 1.HY lego catalogue they will come in March for Europe. Not sure for US or other areas of the world.
In conclusion I would prefer to have the hopefully cheaper set 76050( got only 179 parts vs 287). It has more desirable figs and nicely bulky jeep.
Not really sure about the final prices.
Throw-away (i.e., scrap for MOCs) builds and cool figures, as always.
Totally Agree! Certainly to some extent you can even apply this deficiency to other licensed themes (LotR, DC, SW, JW, etc) especially when referring to small and medium sized sets: vehicles and small sceneries in addition. Collectors buy those for the figures, are happy about them and make space for MOCs since the look better on display (I did that as well e.g. for Hulk Helicarrier Breakout, Mirkwood spider hobbit set and others). Other people like resellers often tend to "scrap" them (small - large sets), too, but with the difference selling the salvaged parts separately.
Alternatively to satisfy the demand for display sets wanted by AFOLs, LEGO came up with the concept of the modular and UCS line which can cover both aspects: figs and display pieces.
Good vehicle or small terrain based sets worth to be kept are rare. Maybe Rey's speeder or Ant "plane" of the small Ant-man set last year may serve as example? (Both sets I am on the fence to get them or not.)

Interesting or not?I'm very disappointed with these sets, the Minifigures are great as always but the models just seem to get worse and worse. I can't blame them if that is exactly what's in the MCU film/s. If I was forced to choose one based on overall model and Minifigure selection it would be #76047 - Black Panther Pursuit as the best set of the wave.
I would like to see what is included with the fourth Civil War set #76067 and the Doctor Strange set. Fingers crossed for a Spider-Man Minifigure! A picture of a hoodie is surfacing around online, if that is any indication to what the design of the Spidey suit will be or not.
1. #76039 - Ant-Man Final Battle
2. #76006 - Extremis Sea Port Battle
3. #76021 - The Milano Spaceship Rescue
I understand as long as they appeal to the kids they will be successful products, you can't please everyone. I have a strict vision and approach to what appeals to me and what doesn't.
I wonder what villain will be included in the Ghost Rider set. Ghost Rider and Spiderman have teamed up numerous times, the only villain of significance I can remember is the Hobgoblin. That would be cool.
This is actually the first time that I have been excited about new super hero sets. Up until this point I have just been getting them for my kids, but Dr Strange and Ghost Rider are definitely for me. Keep those Midnight Sons sets rolling!
Also, with a brickbuilt AntMan, could a brickbuilt Galactus be in the future? We can only hope!

I hope Lego will beat them with their original sets in terms of design and quality. Pretty curious how the Lego designers will shape Ghost Rider's headpiece, hopefully more than just on the surface with some flaming graphics.
For those who haven't seen it yet.

Another Spider-Man!
I can only hope for another polybag with Batman...
