Help - Identify the Star Wars Sets

A bit of an odd request, but I need some help identifying what may be in the bins in the photo. There may be an AT-AT, but I don't think so.

#7262 is a likely candidate. The headless Luke is throwing me for a loop. He's fleshy, and not yellow.

Looks like the luke torso came in just a few sets. Maybe there's a Death Star in there.

Any chance that lot has the parts from a 7150 or 7152 instead of the 7262? The 7150/7152 Y-Wing engine has this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=6259&idColor=9#T=C&C=9 and it looks like its in the photo on the Y-Wing engine assembly. The Y-Wing pilot helmets from both sets are also similar.

The fleshy Luke looks like the printing from the #8092, but the color is off. The 8092 Luke has a white tunic, not beige like the photo. Is that the actual color of the minifig or is the image color a bit off?

I think #8092 is probably too new for the bin. I'll try to find Luke's hair. I'm also not sure where the Stormtrooper/Snowtrooper torso cam from.

I'm calling #7262 due to the presence of the 4x4 black curved brick x2 (part number 2577) right in the middle of the crate. It only features in a handful of sets of which 7262 gives the right minifigures. Still working on the rest :)

Next up, the 6x4 plate with edge studs in the middle of the box is exactly built to be the front plate of the AT-AT #4483 (judging from the position of the 2x3 wing and 2x1 grill. There looks to be quite a bit of other stuff from that set (the helmet on the pilot at least is from this set over #7262 in fact), but I'd be worried I couldn't see a single printed dish...

The 3684 slope in yellow is also in very few sets with only grey bricks (unless they put all the coloured bricks underneath), so I'm saying #4483 is in there.

So, after examining the bin, I'm even more confused.

The flesh head and gold hands in a Snowtrooper torso have thrown me for a loop.
At this point I am confident there some iteration of the Darth Vader/Y-Wing set.

Those legs are only in #9490 and are for a Sandtrooper. The torso is for a Snowtrooper, and that appears to be a Luke head. The printed dishes appear to be from an AT-AT, and the yellow hood is from a Dino set. And the Vader appears to be sw004a either from the tie fighter collection or the tie fighter and y-wing set. Most of which you probably already knew...

With that pond weed piece in the first pic, is it possible there's the one set with the X-Wing on Dagobah from about 2005? Sorry, don't know the number off the top of my head...

I know! It seems like I have readily identifiable pieces or unique pieces from seven or eight different sets. But nowhere near a complete one...

I was thinking #4502 as well after I saw the x-wing engines and canopy, also ties in with part 4159223 that's in the top left of the original picture of the box of bits.

Man, it's almost like someone unsealed the box it's meant to be kept in and fashioned it into something. Then, they took it apart and repeated to make something else. Finally they seemed to have removed the box, instructions and some of the pieces. I can only conclude that the owner was mentally unstable.

what you have here is a nightmare.
what may be your best bet, is rebrickable,
stop all the set's you have listed there from being looked at for part's.
list all the parts you have just got on rebrickable parts list.
and then you can start looking at star wars sets to see what set's are 100% complete.
it not foolproof but it may be the best bet, (it is still going to take a dam long time, but it may be faster then playing guess that set.

with this system, at least you will feel like you are getting somewhere.

what we need is a iPhone or Android APP, that will take an image of a part, and look to see what part number it maybe.

Looks like I was wrong about the Y-wing version, definitely looks like a 7262 now with the Vader head. I will now sheepishly suggest that the gray assembly in the 2nd to last photo is part of the AT-AT head from the #4483 .

That looks a lot like a what I find at the thrift stores around here. Parts from multiple sets jumbled into bags, often partially assembled, always a mystery until I get it home and start sorting. I usually start with the largest assembled chunks and less-common parts like canopies and printed parts. The wings pictured above look to be from 7262.

And one did. There is definitely a combination of the MF, an AT-AT and the Tie Advanced/Y Wing set.

Appears also to have some parts of the X-Wing/Dagobah set and a random Luke Skywalker (Tatooine).

The Luke Skywalker is the baffling figure, as it really doesn't fit the production date of the other three/four sets.

well you got 1 millennium falcon there.
and it looks to be 4504: Millennium Falcon
that is the 2004 model.
the 1st to use the system used to this day to get at the inside of the craft.

Hi all.
Im hoping some eagle eyed bricksetters can help identify what I picked up today. Star Wars isn't my area so I really know nothing here. I'm guessing from the large round shape this could be part of a Death Star - maybe? Wishful thinking?

this was picked out of a skip! (Friend has skip business)
im hoping for a set number or numbers so I can begin working out how many pieces are present.
any advice or opinions are most welcome.

Based on the minifigures:

#8084 - Hoth Battle pack
#10188 - DS

(The combination of Tarkin, Obi-Wan - missing hood - and the Protocol Droid (sw212) are pretty obvious.)

#7669 - Anakin's Starfighter

(That would be my best guess on the Anakin minifig, based on the absence of Asoka, but there should be a bunch of yellow pieces.)

please, please excuse my ignorance for Star Wars sets, but a quick eBay search shows me an incomplete Death Star is nothing hugely exciting.
what would you suggest I do? I've no interest in starwars so will be moving it on long term... Part of me wants to have a go and put it together but already from what you've said about the many missing minifigures, I've probably only a small fraction of the complete set here so would probably be a futile and frustrating waste of time.
Wash it and try and build it? Split the figures and sell them separately? Job lot of spares on fleabay.
ultimately I'd like to use the money to buy some of the new superhero sets. What am I going to get for these pieces ? Sorry to talk money - it seems so rude!!!.

@LuLego - Personally, I'd wash it and then do a quick count of the parts, to see if it's worth trying to re-build each set. If not, I'd sell the minifigures as a job-lot, and then sort the parts into each set, and sell each one as incomplete (they seem to be in good condition, so I'd expect that you'd get some interest for them if priced reasonably).

coincidentally, I've been following the thread on here about 'buying someone's collection' and being quite envious of having to sort through a stack of Lego. It sounds like fun hard work. Looks like I got a little wish come true! And mine was free!

at the end of the day, it'll be an entertaining few evenings (once it is washed.

Your best bet with a set like this is to sort the brickset parts list by the number of sets each piece appears in. If you have the rare pieces it might still be a goer even if you're only at 50%.
The figures from #10188 aren't particularly unique (or special as they are getting on a bit) so shouldn't be too tough to get together.
If this was mine I'd probably rescue and use the updated versions of minifigures.

Please let me know if it's not cool to ask about value on here... I do feel a bit cheeky enquiring about price... But what's it worth?

I mean if I didn't bother working out how many pieces there were so as a bundle of unsorted Death Star parts + minifigs.

or sold without the minifigures.

ive looked on eBay and I think the 11 figures plus droids (I found a dianoga droid and assassin droid too) might get close to £100 if each sold separately.

trying to work out if it's worth the time (although I would enjoy doing it, I think) sorting it and checking it off an inventory.

i do feel a bit cheeky asking about value so sorry once again.

@LuLego - Depending on what route you decide to go down, I might be interested in taking some of that, especially some of the minifigs, off your hands if they clean up ok. I'm pretty local to you if I'm not mistaken, so could collect. Might save you some hassle if you decide to sell separately. Drop me a PM once you're sorted if you like :)

I don't think you should feel weird about asking about its value. The set was $400 u.s. when new. It has since been discontinued, and used complete sets have sold recently on Bricklink for $400-500. I assume you have no instructions?

Unfortunately the instructions weren't in the skip! I'm still speechless that someone threw this in the rubbish. Worst still, they paid to have it taken away!

those ppl should get a one-way non-avoidable ticket into the brick hell... someone i know irl had a relative that almost did the same deadly sin... but in that case rescue was possible before the sin happened...
