^^^^ @Rebelego No, I'm not creative enough :) Don't give up trying to find a solution!

I'm getting the book tomorrow for my bday. All parts have been ordered but I am still waiting on 16 orders- 15 from the US and 1 from Canada.

Also ordered the hats and hoses straight away. They sent me a parts list when I paid for the book.

Can't wait to get started but unfortunately I am incredibly busy at work and may not be able to start before Christmas- no race for me ha!

@Legoboy getting ready for your xenomorph?
Of the 26 BL orders made last week, just four now remaining.  :)
    @Legoboy - Want to have a competition?
Not likely.  My main 1,400 piece BL order is stuck somewhere due to the floods the north of the UK are suffering.  Not containing a mint box or manual, I suppose this is the first LEGO order I have placed whereby I don't get if it gets wet.

    Where are you up to?
38, with 12 left to arrive.

I've got one seller that refuses to update the "paid -> shipped" status, so I can't mark as received. It's really messing up the little organization I'm attempting to maintain.

It looks very nice, and it looks like you finally found a use for all those extra brick separators.

Once you get the book in, you may want to double check the parts list. I have the Akira bike book and found a couple small errors in the parts list in the back of the book, so I went through step-by-step to find the discrepancies. I will say it was probably 99% correct, so you'll at least be really close :)

Just finished building these two little sets that I posted earlier in the "What are you buying right now" thread. They were quite nice builds but I liked the most the fast car's one (the bigger car). I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have not built much since running out of display space about 2 years ago.  Heck I presently have a fully assembled UCS B-Wing prominently displayed on a closet shelf.  Well I fixed that today.  I picked up about 14 feet of LACK shelving from Ikea (slightly wider than a modular baseplate).  I hope to get the shelves hung this weekend so I can start tearing into the sets I have accumulated over the past couple years.

Built the lovely #10193 on Friday - a real pleasure!

And built #10198 last night, which currently will have to remain on my coffee table until I have taken some other sets apart and stored them away.

Just finished the Arvo brothers' Akira bike. I didn't realize quite how fragile it was, as it fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Luckily, it didn't take too long to rebuild the parts that fell off.  All that's left is to put on the stickers.

The bike is quite a bit larger than I expected!

I looked at that stuff but it's pretty plain and basic.  I just added vertical band saw, horizontal bandsaw, sinker EDM machine, die cart, Rockwell tester, crane and been adding more detail as I find more parts.  Been fun modeling my Lego shop after my real shop

    GOOD MORNING??!!? NOT WITH DECAF!

We actually did not go to the premiere, but I did stun my son by busting open the JP/RP combo. It's a really strange feeling, but up until we recently watched all the Episodes, RotJ basically was Star Wars for me. The only scenes that really stayed with me were these. And now almost 30 years later I'm building them with my own son and getting ready for the new movie!

I built my Wall-E last night and now see what all the commotion over the spinning head is about. I have reached out to Customer Service via email to get the updated instructions and parts, but haven't heard back yet other than the automated reply. I also have the pieces for Chris McVeigh's fix, but I want to try both methods to see which I prefer.

My wife is awesome! After getting The Tumbler for my birthday I have been utterly surprised at getting this for Xmas. I got it early as it wouldn't fit in the car as we are getting the boat to England to stay with family for Xmas. She actually said its the only way she gets to watch Kardashians, cause I'm busy building!

I built #41077 Pegasus Sleigh yesterday. The "wing" mechanism is pretty clever and I love the little nest for the dragon. I also like how the signpost ties together all of the sets with keys. On to the 2016 Elves sets (when available)!

It has been hectic in recent weeks, but was finally able to sit down and sort out the pieces for my next major project! Now I just hope I can find some time to build it.
