Lots of great sets for sale - Canada, USA, WW

canadianbrixcanadianbrix Member Posts: 37

Greetings fellow Bricksetters.

We are in the process of massively shrinking our collection of sets to deal with a significant renovation of our home (and to help pay for it too) and we are hoping to connect with other collectors here before going the eBay, BL/BO etc. routes.  Our pricing will be better than there, but this is NOT a fire sale. That said, the more you buy, the better the pricing can be.

The list is still in production and will be updated as boxes get unpacked. Please check in often. Just about everything is MISB/NISB, with a few damaged, but new, sealed sets. UCS, Modulars, City, Star Wars, Trains, Indiana Jones, CMF, Friends, Architecture, Space, Monster Fighters, Polybags, Creator, and more are all coming.  Actually just about every theme.  The collection is primarily from 2002 till 2014. Please PM if you are interested in something listed or curious about what is in the basement/pipeline.

If you are in the greater Toronto area, please consider picking up in Etobicoke, otherwise shipping will be from Toronto, Canada, but possibly from Niagara Falls, NY if the order warrants a trip across the border to save on fees and shipping.  And Christmas is coming very soon, so quick action might get sets to you before the big day.

If it seems a bit too good to be believed, please get in touch with us and we will find a way to make you believe.

Here we go.

    Chris,

Welcome to Brickset! Do you have some feedback references from eBay/Bricklink/Amazon?

    Thanks!

Pictures and/or feedback would be awesome. I am interested to see what other sets you have, especially StarWars and Indiana Jones.

We were wondering what the best way is to establish our legitimacy would be.  Our original forum name "Canadian brix" became unusable after changing our email.  The confirmation email/link would never send/arrive, and Huw and the others couldn't fix it either.  Creating a new name was the simplest way to back on the forum.  The Brickset sign-on was unaffected.  Our eBay handle is "krisko_brix" only used for buying up to now having only sold 1 set of our collection (to a co-worker) over the last 15 years.

I was thinking of using an idea from a article I read a few years ago.  A car collector was called out on his claims of ownership of a fleet of exotics by another collector on a forum.  His response when to asked to photograph the cars to prove that they were in his possession was to pose the car with a specific item - a loaf of bread.  Cute, without exposing personal info.

Ideally a member from around here would come by and confirm what is in the basement :-)

I would be interested in some references as well.  I'm sure we have some bricksetters in the Toronto area that would love to lay eyes on a collection such as yours!

On another forum I'm on, in their marketplace, they require a piece of paper with your forum username handwritten on it in photos of your items, and all items must have a photo to be offered for sale there.

    Is the Taj Mahal left?
  • SprinkleOtterSprinkleOtter Member Posts: 2,779
^ I think a better question might be "Is anything left?"

Maybe not, though. I do wonder.
  • bobabricksbobabricks Member Posts: 1,842
I would assume anything left has been auctioned on eBay or sold else where by now, it's been quite a while.
