It took until 3:30am CDT for Walmart to get their act together and their commerce part back up and running (until then I could not get into the 'cart' or 'checkout' on the site from around at least 2:30-3:30am) Then after 3:30am it seems like the site was running fairly well, and apparently so if the #10697 sold out 20 minutes after that.

I will say do not give up and keep the page on your screen and refresh every so often as I am fairly certain they did appear throughout the day and I'm almost certain they made an appearance as well on Cyber Monday, but in either case you must be quick about it if you want one.

There always is the store as well, which I have had moments of lunacy where I have though about going.

I woke up at 2am CDT to get on Walmart to order #10697 and another item. I was on there for 45 minutes trying get both of them in my cart and check out. Luckily the site finally kicked in for me and I got both before they sold out.  Good luck to anyone who is wanting one. I don't need to step foot in that mess

Is the AT-AT a doorbuster in the morning?  Wonder what the price will be.

It's a an email meant to make you think that. It says "up to 50%" without referencing what will be on sale.

I do like many of the online deals though, pretty solid.

Wish we knew if those sets were the doorbusters and the price of them. Debating on a early morning or not. Hmmmm,.
  • BlueTacoBlueTaco Member Posts: 88
Picked up a $55 #31026 Bike Shop at Target tonight and they also had $10 #3841-1 Minotaurus sets as a doorbuster.
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,712
well, the deals are pretty lame here, basically you save like 5-10€ on a few of the most expensive sets. at least you can get gingerbread house for 65€. there are way better deals elsewhere.

I'm not sure "solid" is what I'd use to define them.

So what were the items that were on sale in store only?
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,837
At last memory, in store on the Pre BF event was 20% off the following:
#60097 City Square (Amazon US currently has it at 170)
    #60098 Heavy Haul Train
    #21022 Lincoln Memorial

I know Im missing a couple

I believe www.ftbt.com has the entire list of what is on sale at LEGO tomorrow..
    http://www.fbtb.net/2015/11/25/lego-shophome-posts-black-friday-deals/
Thanks @Gooker1 who reported it in another thread

  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
Thanks @madforLEGO. Quite disappointing list, guess it saves me a drive to the mall at least.

But it thought it was Double VIP too? Was that only for the preview day?
  • BuriedinBricksBuriedinBricks Member Posts: 1,367
@BrickDancer I think last year, double points was only on the weekend before and NOT on Brick Friday.
  • kiki180703kiki180703 Member Posts: 1,063
@BrickDancer Yes, double points were only for the preview day
  • dragon114dragon114 Member Posts: 642
not that great but may use my vip points to pick up scooby and Jurassic worlds
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
Guess I'll just place one order only for the obligatory Gingerbread House. Then wait to spend more with the Target 20% coupon, albeit only non-exclusives like SW.
  • dragon114dragon114 Member Posts: 642
look like both packs are sold out

  • DougoutDougout Member Posts: 888
I think I'll stay away from the stores and maybe just place one or two orders online.  Good luck to anyone willing to go for a drive to score a deal.

shop at home website sucks as usual.  trying to checkout keeps taking me back to home screen over and over again

^ I had the same problem, kept resetting in Safari and Firefox. Works OK with Chrome. However, no gingerbread house is added and they are charging for shipping, even though I have enough to get the GH and free shipping.

And the S@H site just went down completely
  • Ma1234Ma1234 Member Posts: 693
Horrendous. I out everything I wanted in my cart in advance. I was able to check out but it was a pain. It charged me for shipping even though there's no shipping over $75 on a non-promotion day and didn't add the free gift, but there was already a note that promotions will be added manually to the order later. I guess even LEGO knew it's joke of a site would crash.

It's almost ludicrous that a billion dollar corporation can have a website like S@H

S@H SITE'S BACK UP! Free shipping and GB house is working (for now)!
  • ISDAvengerISDAvenger Member Posts: 205
The listed price on FBTB for the AT AT, is that the Lego Store doorbusters price, or will it be a lower price. 20% doesn't seem to be that much of a large discount.
  • dragon114dragon114 Member Posts: 642
wish scooby doo and juraisc world where in stock :(
  • Ma1234Ma1234 Member Posts: 693
Ok that was fast. Site back-up and my order already has been manually adjusted to add the gingerbread house and free shipping.
  • KralaskanKralaskan Member Posts: 208
Was locked up.  But my order just went through.
  • Thanos75Thanos75 Member Posts: 1,120
I thought it was pretty easy this year. Jumped on....ordered a couple things and then jumped right back off. Literally took 3min.
  • EluneElune Member Posts: 99
^Because you weren't there at noon. XD

Weird. I bought a Duplo set for my daughter, but the Duplo apple wasn't added to my cart. :/ *crosses fingers to receive it anyway*

    Dumb me forgot to check the new sales before I odered and now I feel like I'll have to make a second order. ^^;
  • BumblepantsBumblepants Member Posts: 7,730
of course Dr Who is sold out first thing. Guess I won't bother ordering then.
  • chuckpchuckp Member Posts: 684
^ I'm in the same boat as you @Elune. Had a few things pre-loaded in my cart and placed an order in a hurry. After it was placed I went back to sales & deals and decided there were few more things I missed. Doh!
  • MynattMynatt Member Posts: 632
Darn, I wanted to get #76041 on S@H but missed it. $30 is so much more reasonable for that set than $50.
  • BrickarmorBrickarmor Member Posts: 1,258
No discount Target gift cards this year? :(
  • ChubblesChubbles Member Posts: 459
grabbed the AT-AT, B-Wing and Battle of five armies for 40% off this morning
  • Pumpkin_3CK5Pumpkin_3CK5 Member Posts: 805
Aww no giveaways this year at the LEGO store. Last year a pab buildable Santa, the previous year they had some tickets. Oh well.
  • Pumpkin_3CK5Pumpkin_3CK5 Member Posts: 805
At least they had a yellow LEGO plastic bag instead of a brown paper one. =D

Even though I was a late comer was able to pick up a couple AT-ATs. Have enough B Wings. Pretty decent sale if you ask me.
  • BoomDiggityBoomDiggity Member Posts: 107
    How much were the AT-ATs?
  • Pumpkin_3CK5Pumpkin_3CK5 Member Posts: 805
    At ats were 40% off.
  • Ma1234Ma1234 Member Posts: 693
What were some other in-store exclusives?
  • Pumpkin_3CK5Pumpkin_3CK5 Member Posts: 805
Now they have Ronin REX as a freebie with a Temple of Airjitzu. Gdang it.
  • ChubblesChubbles Member Posts: 459
Yea that's a great freebie with the Temple, but I can't bring myself to buy another Temple

Got my shipped/tracking notice on #10697 today! Very happy because I struck out at the stores near me.Now if only I can snag another on Cyber Monday

A few sets were 40% off between 8 to 10am at LEGO store - Fire station, Friends Mall, AT-AT, B-wing and Chima Crominus Rescue. Pirates Chess was 50% off.
  • tamamahmtamamahm Member Posts: 1,987
That is frustrating. I would have gone for the mall. :-(

  • ryjayryjay Member Posts: 1,009
I was a little surprised to see the discounted Friends Pop Star sets..usually LEGO isn't discounting their latest releases.   I wonder if those sets are slow moving and they have plenty of back stock that they're thinking won't move for the holidays  My daughter enjoys the friends line, but she has passed on wanting any of the pop star sets so far.
