@Scarra, are those dishes the same as the ones from the Ultra Agents sets?

^ I don't have any of those sets but the dishes do look identical.

Tonight I've modified my Horizon Express, to fit two rechargable battery boxes, two IR receivers, and two motors into one cab unit. It's rather heavy now...

I do still need to put a #8869 Polarity Switch in there though, to get the motors running in the same direction. (I don't have one yet). It'll be a tight fit, but I'm pretty confident it'll go in.

I had to pretty much gut the interior of the train in order to fit everything in. Although the outside looks superficially similar, it's actually quite different in places. Can you spot the changes?

What do you mean, funky correct?

I'm building The Battle of Helms Deep.

Well, I was. I got it from Pley. The idiot who had it last lost well over 3 1/4th's of the wall sections and I spent most of my time reporting the missing parts, and I haven't even hit manual 4 yet. Ugh, hopefully this doesn't happen next time.
  • BrickDancerBrickDancer Member Posts: 3,639
@Paperballpark my grammar skill wasn't on point. It should have been "...funky, correct?"

What I was seeing is a weird square shape in the middle of bottom half. I don't recall building the arrows in a similar fashion on my HE.

Found out I already had 99% of the pieces in my collection for at least 2 years w/out even realizing it, so I'm Bricklinking #7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship for $3.

Also #75094 Shuttle Tydirium arrived in the mail 5 days before expected; that's tomorrow's project. The kids dont know it's here yet. :)

Yeah, I had to build the arrows in a different way, as there's now a battery box behind them.

Just finished #60050 Train Station (2014) from pieces in my collection (is there a term for that? FPIMC?)

Came pretty darn close to a match, maybe 90% same-same. Went red & blue instead of tan.

I finished #10249 so now #10245 awaits my building pleasure (not quite in the right order, I know) ...

However, I've had the box of #10197 (Fire Brigade) look at me with a feeling of neglect so I think I may just have to squeeze it in before I crack open the WV Workshop. I guess I'll probably have to take a few smaller things apart so I have space for it first though.

I have now also just finished building the #40139 Gingerbread House! I think it was a better build than the train but the train followed closely :)
Btw, in the background is my Taj Mahal work in progress ;)

It's a great build, and the size of the thing is massive. The very top of the highest mast is only just in the photo.

You know all you really needed was the polarity switch.   The battery box and IR receiver can run 2 motors just fine.

    All that black and grey......
All you need is a bit of Orange, purple and lime green to finish them off. Otherwise no one is going to see you coming.

Just finished #75051, bought for MOC parts, but I can't just part out a set without building it if I haven't built one before. I'm not really familiar with it, as I haven't seen the show (think it only airs over here on Foxtel), but it's not a bad little ship.

Nice! I bought the book, then decided not to build it for now. I've just been selling the rare parts in my BL store.

Going to send me the rare hoses, just in case mine dont arrive?

Book is amazing and worth the expense whether it gets built or not.  I don't think I gave ever seen detail like it before.

Still waiting on the book. Should be here by the end of the week. Sorry, don't have any of the hoses. My Fez hats lasted maybe 24 hrs in my store. Apparently I was the only one on BL to sell those New. Make sure you share pics when finished!

The fez pieces were my first order.  My second was for the rare hoses but that got cancelled by them having found out that their inventory was wrong.  On single hoses coming from the States, another from somewhere in Germany, possibly Germany.  Pics will definitely be on the cards,.  :)

Not likely.  My main 1,400 piece BL order is stuck somewhere due to the floods the north of the UK are suffering.  Not containing a mint box or manual, I suppose this is the first LEGO order I have placed whereby I don't get if it gets wet.
