Not sure who knew this but in the 70s the Borg-Warner chemical company supplied Lego with plastic that was made in Grangemouth. Lego gave them a mould to quality test plastic, it was a 4 position mold that made 2x4 bricks. Anyway most of the bricks made were probably solid colors but the workers also made marbled bricks there that they would give to their children. Over the past few years three collections of bricks have surfaced (see pictures). Being a 2x4 collector I am looking for more of these bricks so if anybody has found some or comes across some please let me know :D
