    @madforLEGO, thanks for the update. Just moved to a town with a TRU (harder to find now) and was wondering if I'd missed the C3PO poly.

    TRU in NC had #30274 (AT-DP) on the pegs today. Took some to the checkout and they had to do an override as they were not supposed to be out until the 25th. The TRU cashier lady didnt think that they were part of any promo. Additionally I found #40090 (last years Halloween bat) on the shelf for 3.99!

    I found those bats as well.  There were like 15-20 so I thought about getting them for my son's friends for a Halloween party he will be going to.  Then I just picked up 3 for my boys.

    ^I've only seen #40090 at Walmart for $9.97. I definitely would have scooped up a few for $3.99!

    Can't really say no to #40090 at that price, even with conversion to AU, that's still a nice price...

    C-3PO found in Columbus, OH. Toys R Us, Polaris location. Not many though, only about 20 left.

    That's crazy!  I didn't count how many were left at 6PM, but I would easily estimate 60-80.

    I picked up a handful to hit Bricktober with Wall-E.  I'm not sure I see the huge resale value that would justify scooping up dozens, based on recent history with Electro and Rocket Racoon.

    @Russell844 Don't bother going.  I went by after work today.  I didn't see a spot in the LEGO section for the C-3PO so I asked the customer service desk.  They figured out that they broke the street date and took them to the back.  They said it wouldn't be put out again until late November.  I saw tags for Azari's Magic Fire and the At-Dp, but it was empty.  I don't know if someone cleaned them out or if they took them to the back as well.

    ^^ Np. A store in So Cal apparently has 200 of them so I'm guessing most TRUs will have plenty of it.

    They said late November. They didn't give me a specific date.

    Checked at the store near me. Reported they have tem but they have a promo going on this week starting on Sunday where you have to buy X to get one. Oh well, Im not really fond of overpaying for a LEGO set at TRU for a figure.

    I think someone reported earlier that the C-3POstreet date was Nov 1st.

    I was just at my local TRU, and they had a sign on the C3PO box, which was under the service counter, with a message that said "Do Not Sell Until Nov 28th."  Just thought I'd share. Nov 28th is a Saturday. Does that mean for sure this is the date, no. It just means that at my store in MN this store has locked that date in with a hand-written note taped to the box.

    #30259 is Nov 1 as per my local store. At same store, C-3PO was on sale.

    Yeah I think many TRUs seem to be cracking down on selling the figures before their promos. Though I find it hard to believe that they would have these so far before a promo and then be able to sell them after it, which would be Nov 28th. My guess is the promo is either this coming week or next (maybe after bricktober is completed) then after that week they will be found on sale, so likely Nov 1 or Nov 8th? In any case after their promo is ended and if they have any figures left they will likely sell them (at least at the stores that are forbidding purchases before the promo begins)

    No CP3O's at my toys r us, the customer service last said they would be in Wednesday.  Not a polybag, but they had the Halloween bat from last year.  They only had one on the shelf, I asked the lady if they had anymore she said they had 18 in the back.  I bought 4 of them because I missed it last year.

    I was told that the AT-DP had a street date today and the C3PO had a street date of next Sunday.  Both were part of a promo, but the Manager was not sure what it was.  Makes sense to be a $xx purchase get one free.

    Went to two TRUs today in the Twin Cities

    First one was Maplewood - they wouldn't sell the Bricktober sets (we're not supposed to) and would only give out the AT-DP as $30+ promo.

    Second one was Minnetonka (by Ridgedale) and was able to buy the Bricktober Bakery and TRU stores, and they had the AT-DP but only as a $30+ promo. It's weird, usually they sell those. Guy at CS said that they can't sell them while the promo is happening, so it should be for sale next week. I got it anyway for free so I don't care.

    No sign of C3PO at either.

    Another Minnesotan here. I went to the Fridley store today and found the Hotel and Bakery. I got the last Hotel but as of 10:30 they had 8 bakerys left. I was also lucky to find one of the $3.99 bats. 

    AT-DP was behind the counter- also no sign of C3PO.

    Walmart will price match TRU.  I showed them the price on the TRU website and they matched it for me.

    Just saw #30286 Christmas Tree at the Desert Ridge Barnes and Noble in Phoenix.  It was located in one of the walkways near the middle of the store with a bunch of novelty items.

    I found the Christmas tree at B&N too. It was in a pile of boxes and new merc waiting to be put out!

    YMMV are the most important letters when it comes to TRU. My store is very strict about street dates. That plus being so far away from everything else I do in town, I rarely stop in there. If they didn't have these mythical polybags, I would never go in there. But for now, it's just rarely.

    No matter what zip code I put in, even one that exactly matches a store, the "find in store" function tells me no store in that area every time. Grrr

    Found Azari polybag and the Ninjago mech at (Rivergate, Nashville, TN) TRU today, they wouldn't sell me the Ninjago one. They had dozens of the bricktober sets.

    Neither Barnes & Noble here had a Christmas tree, I looked in all available open boxes lying around to check too :)
