I thought Wall•E's eyes were a bit plasticky, so took to them with some of my car detail products. Probably overkill but I there's definitely a difference. They look 'deep' now, as if there's black space behind a clear glass lens.

On anther tangent... this is the part where Deckard zooms the image into the eyes, extrapolates the surrounding area the shot was taken in from the reflection, compensates for the curve, zooms again, locates another reflection in the window panes, zooms again, extrapolates the far corner/neighbours house from that reflection, adjusts for distortion, adjusts for light, zooms again... locates a Mr Gold.
:o)
Part of me is objecting loudly to modifying lego pieces though...
I may have misunderstood... I thought he had applied a coating to them.
Whatever it is, it looks great to me.
Yes, there was a mild polishing compound, followed by buffing very rigorously with a microfibre cloth, followed by pre-sealant, a coat of chemical sealant, and finally a buffing. I had some time on my hands :)
i think it looks really good with what you have already.
That's probably OK.
It removes a little plastic, but so does normal wear and tear.
Heresy! Get the matches!
